"Perfect location"

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn on Hilton Head many times. Convient location! The hotel is clean and comfortable! The people at the front desk are so nice - Terry! Highly recommend!

Disgusting…my room smelled like smoke and the carpet was gross. Shame on Hilton 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾. I was so disgusted, I booked another room and left immediately.

"Manager goes above and beyond to help us!"

Booked room over phone while traveling on 10-7. Was told there was $39 "hold fee" but would credit it when we checked in. Arrived that evening abd were told we were "propably scammed". "Hampton never charges a hold fee". Lady at desk not very helpful. Talked to manager (Erin Kronenberg) next morning. She also said Hampton never charges that fee. However, she was EXTREMELY helpful. Used our phone to find number we called. She pretended she wanted a reservation for same day. Was also told she would be charged the $39 "hold fee". She confronted the person and stated she was a manager with Hampton and Hampton never charges a hold fee. The other party quickly hung up. Within the hour the fee was credited back to our card. To be safe we talked to our cedit card company and advised we place a temp hold on our card. After a week, we changed our credit card number to be safe. Erin went way above and beyond to help us. She was wonderful and Hampton is lucky to have her on their team!

"Budget friendly experience with clean accommodations and tasty cookies/breakfast"

I arrived a day early for our timeshare getaway. There was no room for us that evening, so by chance we got a room at the Hampton Inn. We were greeted with freshly made cookies, which were very tasty. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast, to my surprise, was not just a carb-fest. There were good protein options, and I left feeling very satisfied. There was no availability for late checkout, but they permitted us to stay until 11:30 am. I would confidently recommend Hampton Inn for someone looking for a good value and great experience.

"Lovely line workers, oppressive management"

The housekeeping staff and evening desk attendant were courteous and good-natured, performing their duties with grace. The accomodations were adequate. The manager was either off-site, or upon return, hostile. I would not return.
