Old and run down. Hallways and stairways are beat to hell. The mattresses are completely sagging in the middle, so I slept one night on the sofa sleeper. I could barely get out of it in the morning due to back pain. The cable service is a joke (local channels and maybe 5 others such as Weather Channel). The only money put into this property might have been in the lobby. Rooms were worn and unclean. It made me REALLY appreciate my normal Marriott properties (they were not available).

This hotel is really run down and needs updating. The partition door in my room was rickety and wouldn’t close. The TOILET made noise all day and night recycling water. The front desk is very lax saying you didn’t really need coupons for the breakfast but the breakfast attendants are super aggressive about the coupons. There was no meat with the breakfast so it wasn’t worth $20. I asked for a rollaway bed at check in and she said she’d get one. When I got back I asked if they put the bed in room and another front desk person said they didn’t have rollaway beds. So which is it? Then I said okay can we have 4 blankets instead so our kids could sleep in the tv room. She said due to their limited resources she would compromise and give us two sets of blankets. Limited resources? How is that the customers problem? You should have enough to give extras. We were fine with the two blankets but I think the hotel should be better stocked. I’ve never had a hotel deny me blankets before. It was weird. This was my second time staying and I won’t be returning.

My wife and I came for a cozy overnight, having ducked out of another establishment, and we got a very good deal for a last-minute booking. We were very pleased with almost everything: the staff were friendly, the room (suite!) was very comfortable and clean. We will likely be back here again. One small suggestion: Many people now have phones and other gadgets that plug into a USB or USB-C plug, rather than a traditional (in North America) three-prong plug point. These USB plugins have become fairly standard, but we couldn't find any of them in our room. This made charging our phones a bit more of a challenge than we had anticipated. This would be worth updating, and it would probably be a relatively inexpensive fix.

Disgusting. Unclean. Peeling wallpaper. Trash in halls. We are only sleeping here for 6hrs then checking out. Literally one person working the whole hotel. TVs didn’t work and phone to ring front desk didn’t work. Do not stay here. Not a corporate Hilton.
