This place is pathetic!! Purchased 4 flight package with 1 "High Fly" and "All Media" package. They condensed my 4 flights to 3 longer ones to make the rotation smoother (they did ask first, and I agreed thinking longer flights would be more instruction time). There was virtually no instruction. You basically lay on a pillow of air for 80 seconds while they hold you from flying off, then repeat until your "flights" are used up. High Fly was the same, with no opportunity to steer yourself and no instruction on how to anyway. The group before me had two guys who received actual instruction and much longer flights so after my 4 flights (3 flights) I purchased an additional 4 flights for a return trip since it is half price if you book then. I was told that my "All Media" package of photos and videos would be emailed to me in 2 hours and that the confirmation voucher would be sent the same way. Around an hour after I left, I received an email with 3 videos (of my 3 flights). No photos (they didn't take any) and no Confirmation for return flights. I figured I'd give them a bit but when I had not received anything the following morning (Sunday) I sent an email asking what needed to be done. No response all day so Monday morning I went to the website to get a phone number to call, but the site said they were closed Monday and Tuesday. No response at all either of those two days so on Wednesday I tried to call again. After about a dozen unanswered calls I decided to make the 90-minute drive to resolve it in person but when I arrived, they were closed. I tried to call their Corporate office but they also are "working remotely" but "closely monitoring the voicemails". At this point I have left 2 voicemails at the Cincinnati location, and I think 5 voicemails at the Corporate office and have not had a response from anyone yet. I logged in to Yelp and they now showed the business as closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursday I called the Cincinatti location repeatedly until someone answered the phone so yes, it took 5 days to get any kind of acknowledgement that there was an issue to resolve. By this point I am completely frustrated and have no faith in them and no desire to support their business. I just want a refund for the additional unused flights and for the photos that they cannot send because they did not take them. The proposed solution is "Sorry about that but Refunds are against our Policy" and "I'll re-send your Confirmation Voucher". I said this was not going to be acceptable as I had no faith in them and no longer wanted to conduct business with them. Agent said he would have the Manager call me. I'm assuming this is the same Manager that should have answered my email on the Sunday or Monday (or Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday for that matter) or possibly responded to the two voicemails I left at the Cincinatti site. I have yet to receive a response from him on any of these things so I'm guessing no response is coming. Also, still have not received a response from the "closely monitored" Corporate voicemail so it seems like this is the Company Culture. Seriously, this is very overpriced for the experience and the way they conduct the business side of it makes me surprised they have been able to exist as long as they have. If you decide to risk it, get documentation on EVERYTHING you pay for and don't rely on them to have any integrity. I don't know why it is so difficult for a business to do the right thing anymore.

Frequently Asked Questions about iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Cincinnati

Where is iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Cincinnati located?

iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Cincinnati is located in the Liberty Center shopping center at 7689 Warehouse Row, Liberty Township, OH 45069.

How old do you have to be to do iFLY?

iFLY Cincinnati welcomes flyers from 3 years of age and up. Those under age 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign their waiver and accompany them in the flight chamber.

Are there any physical restrictions?

Participants must not exceed 300lbs. Individuals weighing between 260–300lbs are subject to additional evaluation by the local staff to determine if they can be accommodated. Also, individuals who are pregnant or have a hard cast or hard prosthetic that cannot be removed are not permitted to fly. Individuals who have a head, neck, back or shoulder injury, heart condition or other health condition that may impede their ability to participate, should not fly.

What should I wear?

Opt for comfortable clothing that fits under your flight suit, like a t-shirt and pants/shorts. Lace-up sneakers or athletic shoes are recommended, and avoid wearing items like jewelry, watches, or glasses that may dislodge during your flight.

Is indoor skydiving safe?

Safety is paramount. The unique wall-to-wall air column design, along with certified and highly-trained instructors, ensures a secure and enjoyable flight experience. Regardless of your level of experience, a dedicated flight instructor is right there with you throughout your flight.

How does indoor skydiving work?

A vertical wind tunnel utilizes fans at the top to pull air through the flight chamber, which is then pushed down the sides through Return Air Towers. This process passes the air through an inlet contractor, compressing and accelerating it before it reenters the flight chamber. The outcome is a steady column of air that allows you to achieve flight.

Why is a flight suit required?

Instructors use the handles on your flight suit to provide assistance as needed.

Can I fly with my friends and family members?

Yes! Multiple people fly together in most sessions in the tunnel. Your friends and family will share the same group, but you'll fly individually in the flight chamber, guided one-on-one by your instructor. As you gain more flight experience, you can join others with similar skills in the tunnel. If someone wishes to watch, they are welcome to accompany you during your experience and observe from the designated area.
