"Fair for the price, if you want a bit more class go elsewhere"

We have just stayed 10 nights all the All Star Movies Resort. The check in was easy on the app so no problems with that. We was in the Toy Story section which was cool, however in our room we had an adjoining door. The first 2 nights the people next door had alarms going off from 5am so we could hear them and they went on for a good hour. Then our new neighbours were smoking cannabis and the smell came through the door. After the first night of it i went to reception and they said they would speak to them and get it stopped or get them removed from the resort. I don't think they did anything as it carried on. We did get a air purifier delivered but this did nothing. On the 3rd complaint about the smell we finally got moved rooms. This room had no adjoining door but was slightly run down, holes in the floor and a lot of paint scuffs. You can't expect luxury at a value resort so overall it was a okay stay. We used the food court twice, this was very busy between 8-11 am and 6pm-11pm the food was okay and you can mobile order which is nice an easy. We didn't use the pool area as it was very busy. The buses come around every 15 mins, however they do get very full at park closing times. If i was to stay here again i would ask for a room with the adjoining door.

"Good theming"

Stayed for 7 nights in summer, Aug 25, first time at this resort although we’ve been to WDW 2 times before. The grounds were very well kept, theming was great and nice to walk around the resorts. We didn’t use the shuttle bus as we had a car, bonus points was free parking at both the parks and resort for guests. Beds were comfortable but the room is too small for four people. Furthermore, once the murphy bed is down, the table cannot be used. The room is basic, nothing fancy but adequate for us as we spend so much time either at the parks or elsewhere. There is a cooler in the room to keep beverage cold. Housekeeping came every other day I think but our room wasn’t that messy. Air conditioning in the room worked well - summer in Orlando is brutal so nice to come to a cold room at the end of the day. We had been assigned the room furthest away from everything and got a view of the car park despite requesting the opposite. However it’s a short walk from the car park so I guess wasn’t so bad. We were lucky that we decided to rent a car this time. I cannot imagine walking from the shuttle bus point to our room after a long day at the park! Because of this, we didn’t use the pool and only went to eat at the restaurant and also walking around the resort once during our stay. The food court was noisy, chaotic and queue to pay can be long. The refill station always overflowed, staff tried their best to keep the area clean. We normally drove to the check-in parking to pick up our breakfast order and refill our mugs and straight to the park after. Coming back we would eat at the park or non-Disney restaurants - Cheesecake Factory, iHop, food court at the outlets etc and then coming back to the resort to refill our mugs, then drove back to the room. So for this purpose, the resort is adequate and the room location was bearable. Beverage refill station should be setup across each buildings as it’s a bit cumbersome to go to the foodcourt each time. Used the laundry facilities which was great and also the massage chair in the laundry room. $5 worth spending! No interactions with any cast members other than those at the shop when we bought our mugs as check-in/out was online and no need. This has taken away some personal touch, it’s just my opinion. Only will be back if the price is right and parking continues to be free at both the parks and resort.

Perfect base for all parks, clean and comfy beds, lovely pool and well stocked food court. We were in the parks the majority of the time so this was perfect for us! Buses were a dream to be honest and never waited long. Would go back in a heart beat.
