    "Disneys Best Kept Secret"

This might be the best-kept secret on Disney Property. This is listed as a moderate resort, but it has many of the amenities of a Disney deluxe hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The amenities of Port Orleans French Quarter double the offerings. This might be the farthest resort from the parks, but it's one of the closest resorts to Disney Springs, with a quaint shuttle boat service to that shopping and entertainment district. The distance from the parks makes this one of the quietest Disney resorts. Love this hotel so much!

"Great stay but loud air con"

We recently stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside in Florida as a family for two weeks. Overall, we had an amazing time enjoying the parks and the beautiful resort grounds—they are truly stunning and very well maintained. We stayed in a refurbished room, which was modern and nice, but felt quite basic overall. One major downside was the air conditioning it was extremely loud and kept waking me up throughout the night whenever it switched on. Housekeeping was also disappointing; our room was only cleaned four times during our two-week stay, despite a couple of complaints. While the stay was okay and we appreciated the lovely surroundings, I’m not sure we would return due to these issues.

Stayed here with a family of 4 for three days, had two rooms. Overall very good stay if you are looking for something cheaper on Disney property. Bit of a walk to the main building but not bad, busses were good getting to the parks. Food on site was great and you can catch a boat to Disney springs but be prepared in case it’s busy.

    "Had a great time"

We’ve just returned from a holiday at Port Orleans Riverside and what a great time we had! We have stayed at deluxe and moderate resorts many times but this was our first time at Riverside and we would most definitely stay again. The room and resort was everything we were expecting. Cast members were excellent too. We did not go to the main pool as we like the quiet ones and they were very enjoyable and all so different. We stayed in an alligator bayou room and loved the location and general feel of the area. Next time, just for a change, we would stay on the magnolia bend area of the resort. We enjoyed the foot court for breakfast and evening meals; all good and I felt value for money. All together the Resort had a really amazing feel.

    "Another wonderful stay"

This was our second stay here at PORS. Last time we stayed in the Magnolia bend section which was pretty but this time I booked a 5th sleeper room so I was guaranteed the Aligator Bayou section. Check in was smooth and we were greeted by a member of staff who went through the room options, the resort map and what was going on in the parks. We were put in building 19 which was a 5 min stroll from the main lobby or pool. We were on the second floor which was fine but be aware there are no lifts in these buildings. We had a corner room with two windows but tbh this didn't really matter as the curtains had to be pulled for privacy all the time we were in the room anyway. The room was clean and spacious with a shower over the bath, shampoo, body wash, conditioner in pumps and some hand soaps and body moisturiser provided. The aircon unit was noisy so we just used the overhead fan at night. There was a large tv, coffee machine and fridge. I needed to bring medicine with me and the fridge which some call a drinks cooler was definitely cold enough for my medicine and milk. The bed was super comfy with different pillow options. Im 5'3ft and I could fit on the pulldown sleeper which was comfy. The quite pool outside the room was pretty as well as all the walk ways. Its such a pretty resort. I only ate from the food court once and the food was the average park style food but there was lots of choice. There is a large shop with lots of Disney merch and some snack food, normal groceries, milk, nappies, toiletries etc. I didn't buy the resort mug this time as we weren't staying long enough. We did use the boat to Disney springs one night. Unfortunately there was a long wait and one lady held a space for 6 others for her family including two pushchairs. Apparently this was ok for them to push their way down the que and I was accused of being mean when I said it wasn't on. Umm, one person goes to the back to meet their family or 6 push their way to the front! I know which one is fair. The person who called me mean missed the next boat due to that party pushing in so maybe she learnt from that situation! This was our only issue staying here but it happens everywhere around Disney Unfortunately. The buses all worked well and sometimes stopped at Port Orleans French Quarter but it was a quick stop. My only complaint with the buses is that it doesn't stop at the main lobby first which is the stop most people wanted. We only stayed here 4 nights this time before heading over to Universal but I do wish we stayed a bit longer. This is one of my top Disney resorts to stay in and highly recommend it.
