    From arrival and check in nothing was too much trouble. We had Disney dining plan and ate in the food court a number of times especially breakfast. We always found a table and seats even when very busy. Buses into parks were easy to navigate and the boat to Disney springs an added bonus. We used uber a few times arrived very prompt to reception. Rooms were nice and clean but looking tired in areas. We used the launderette which we will do more of in future as so easy to use. Check out and putting our cases in the luggage store was perfect to allow us to still enjoy our last day.

    Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this Disney property. The room was comfortably furnished. After walking a minimum of 15,000 steps each day at the parks, I would have loved a bathtub. We also had a couple of the USB charging ports in our room that didn’t work and didn’t get repaired during our stay. The resort covers a lot of acreage. It would have been nice to have a golf cart type shuttle at check in and check out. Also, I would have appreciated knowing that there were four Disney transportation stops around the property. It took us two days to know that there was a shuttle stop very close to our building. Not sure why the front desk representative didn’t tell us about that, but did tell us about the pool hours. We enjoyed the food court and the onsite restaurant. The French onion soup was delicious, as were our steaks.

    We stayed in Magnolia Terrace on the ground floor. We loved how close our room was to bus stop number 3. We were right in the middle with a short walk to the main building for food or the gift shop. Our housekeeper was great our room was always super clean upon check in and throughout the week. We did not have any issues with noise throughout our stay. We had 2 pools without walking distance once a short 2 minute walk from our room the other was a little further on our walk to the main building. The Cast Members were great even during a small issue i had with mobile ordering, it did stump them but throughout the entire process they were great. The atmosphere of the resort is charming and quiet. A moderate resort that feels more like a deluxe resort. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

    Our tradition continued, of following a visit to the French Quarter (with its joyously Mardi Gras themed Xmas decorations); with a stop at its more subdued, classical, neighbor resort. Experiencing both locations, is a wonderful way to begin immersing into the Disney Xmas transformation. Strolling the buildings & grounds, along with a round-trip on the Sassagoula rivercruise; is a pleasant way to spend several hours enjoying the efforts made, to bring forth the holiday season here.
