Dinosaur World is Central Florida's only attraction dedicated to the giants of years past. The 20-acre theme park is conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando on Interstate 4 and is a must-see for families exploring the area. Spend your visit walking amongst some of the most feared predators ever to walk on the planet before heading off to explore the outdoors and entertainment!

Practice your skills as a paleontologist at the area’s largest Fossil Dig before you head over to the Boneyard Excavation to try your hand at uncovering a prehistoric skeleton sure to add a little roar to your day. And don’t miss Dino Gems Mining Operation where everyone uncovers a keepsake to treasure. The park also features a colossal skeletal playground for kids that’s large enough to contain even the loudest pitter-patter of little dinosaur feet.

We celebrated my son's 5th birthday. We were able to bring our own food and cake. The picnic area is enclosed in. The play area is right next to it. The fossil area was great!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved the excavation. The price was perfect thanks to Tripster!

Frequently Asked Questions about Dinosaur World Florida

What are the hours of operation?
Dinosaur World is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Is food available at the park?
No. We welcome families to pack a picnic lunch to bring to Dinosaur World.

What does my admission price include?
All tickets to Dinosaur World include access to over 200 life size dinosaurs, multiple shows and exhibits such as the area’s largest, interactive boneyard, the giant skeletal playground and the Prehistoric museum which features an enormous collection of animatronic dinosaurs, prehistoric dinosaur eggs, raptor claws and more.

The Fossil Dig and the Dino Gem Excavation are not included in the cost of admission. These additional experiences are available for a small fee.

Is Dinosaur World handicap accessible?
Yes. Wheelchair rentals are also available for $5 plus tax. To rent a wheelchair, a proper form of ID must be presented. The ID is held until the wheelchair is returned.
