Overview

Central Florida’s only attraction dedicated solely to prehistoric giants, Dinosaur World Florida offers 20 acres of land for guests of all ages to explore. The iconic family attraction features more than 200 life-size dinosaurs, ancient artifact exhibits, a 5,000-square-foot learning facility, paleontologist question-and-answer sessions, and more.

Description

Dinosaur World is Central Florida's only attraction dedicated to the giants of years past. The 20-acre theme park is conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando on Interstate 4 and is a must-see for families exploring the area. Spend your visit walking amongst some of the most feared predators ever to walk on the planet before heading off to explore the outdoors and entertainment!

Practice your skills as a paleontologist at the area’s largest Fossil Dig before you head over to the Boneyard Excavation to try your hand at uncovering a prehistoric skeleton sure to add a little roar to your day. And don’t miss Dino Gems Mining Operation where everyone uncovers a keepsake to treasure. The park also features a colossal skeletal playground for kids that’s large enough to contain even the loudest pitter-patter of little dinosaur feet.

It is such a great place for toddlers who loves dinosaurs! There’s play grounds, great outdoor walks with dinosaurs to see and read about them!

I brought my two year old grandson and he had the best time. The dinosaurs are well kept. There are bright colors and good looking displays. There were birthday parties and lots of kids. The gift shop is fantastic.

Tip: Bring a cooler, bring some spending money, prices are very good!

We celebrated my son's 5th birthday. We were able to bring our own food and cake. The picnic area is enclosed in. The play area is right next to it. The fossil area was great!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved the excavation. The price was perfect thanks to Tripster!

Tip: Alot of activities. The shows are very educational.

Though we visited on super hot day, I will recommend to go on normal temperature day and enjoy your day. Staff was supportive, knowledgeable and friendly.

Tip: Check schedules for their shows, go for online tickets to get cheaper

The journey to the much anticipated world of prehistoric dinosaurs was an adventure my young kids enjoyed. They had shows and walking trails displaying a tremendous display of life like replicas. A nice weekend escape into the past!

Tip: Free parking and gift shop is first.

What are the hours of operation?
Dinosaur World is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Is food available at the park?
No. We welcome families to pack a picnic lunch to bring to Dinosaur World.

What does my admission price include?
All tickets to Dinosaur World include access to over 200 life size dinosaurs, multiple shows and exhibits such as the area’s largest, interactive boneyard, the giant skeletal playground and the Prehistoric museum which features an enormous collection of animatronic dinosaurs, prehistoric dinosaur eggs, raptor claws and more.

The Fossil Dig and the Dino Gem Excavation are not included in the cost of admission. These additional experiences are available for a small fee.

Is Dinosaur World handicap accessible?
Yes. Wheelchair rentals are also available for $5 plus tax. To rent a wheelchair, a proper form of ID must be presented. The ID is held until the wheelchair is returned.
