The fabulous Crown Reef was developed to be a one of a kind resort with one goal in mind... to provide guests with service above their expectations.

Minimum age to check in and stay: 21 and over

Resort fee, parking fee, and booking fee will be paid upon check-in.
A 2.5% convenience fee will be added to all credit card payments made at the property; however, this fee will be waived for debit/pre-paid card payments.

A $200 refundable security deposit will be collected at check-in.

Parking: Self-parking is available for $12 per vehicle, per day. Each reservation may purchase one parking pass per unit in a standard room/efficiency or two per suite. Trailer parking is NOT available at this property.

To minimize contact for the safety of our guests and staff, daily housekeeping will not be available.

"Fleeing hurricane Helene in western North Carolina!"

Sophia was awesome serving us in Loco Gecko! Friendly, so helpful, smiling face always! Was Laser focused on our food sensitivities and insured the prepared meal did not contain allergens. We ate breakfast here twice and the food was delicious. Keep Sophia around!!

"Overall a good visit"

Overall we had a great stay and we would most likely stay again. We were attending a conference and the facilities were very nice. Our room had some issues. The AC unit was not put together and the parts were in our bathtub . Nothing was ever repaired despite multiple calls. Nothing catastrophic. Just needs attention.

I had a conference at this resort and figured since it was on the beach, I would bring my family and stay a few extra days. We got a suite. The room was moderately comfortable, but it was not clean to standard, and we even killed several small cockroaches on our last night. Neither the bathroom nor the kitchen sink drained properly, which made basic things difficult. The kitchen is also built such that the refrigerator doesn’t open all the way. The front door wasn’t flush with the frame, so there was a strong draft that came in and made the main bedroom very cold. Check- in is confusing. We arrived at night and the signage on the road isn’t clear enough, so we pulled into the wrong side of the street. You have to check in on the conference center side and then go to the rooms across the street. The breakfast that you get for the vouchers is not good… even though we ordered every morning at 7, it seemed like the food had been pre made (gummy potatoes and stale toast). The conference space is quite nice, and of course, the hotel’s location right in the beach is ideal.

When you go there, ask for Sophia, she's a sweetheart! She's so friendly, we had a beautiful view of the beach that's unmatched, the place was very calm, service was pretty quick, no hurry, relaxing....................................

Oceanfront. Beautiful views. Large, clean rooms. Only negative is outside doors. But good locks on doors. Breakfast every morning at Loco Gecko Restaurant was a joy. Sophia always greeted us with a smile. She took great care of us and was very attentive to our every need. We’ll come back just to see her.
