If you like staying in a rundown dirty hotel, this is the place for you. The staff made the bed but that was about it. There was previous trash under the bed and behind the bedside table. No trashcan in the room. Had to practically beg staff for towels. I wouldn't recommend this dump to anyone.

The accommodations were the absolute pits. The room was not very clean, the bathroom had hair from previous occupants, toilet didn't work (fixed it myself), the shower curtain rod was barely hanging on the wall, there were bed bugs. The gentleman at check-in mentioned that the suite was to be remodeled next year. My personal opinion, it should be done immediately! Can believe Country Inn & Suites would run an operation like this!

I am giving this hotel 4 stars, not because anything was bad, but because it wasn't an exceptional experience. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the included breakfast was good. Everything we expected from a hotel. Just nothing extra that would make me think 5 stars.

Tip: The only complaint would be that half the parking lot was are the bottom of a huge hill. This made loading and unloading the car seem a daunting task. There was a luggage cart available at the entrance, so we opted to use that to unload before parking, however the wheels were horribly misaligned making the cart unstable and it tipped over twice while trying to wheel it into the building. So either pack light, or hope they get a new luggage cart before your stay,

After spending the entire day at Busch Gardens, I traveled only 5 minutes down the road to what was a wonderful hotel with fantastic service. We were treated the next morning to a great continental breakfast before traveling down the road only 5 minutes to Water Country USA. I would and have already recommended this hotel to anyone who is taking a trip to the Williamsburg area.
