Description

Cosmic Cavern is one of Arkansas' hidden treasures. You will see 2 bottomless cave lakes during your 1hr and 15 minute tour. The first lake, South Lake, has had trout in it for nearly 50 years. Some trout have gone blind and most have lost their color. The bottom or end of these lakes has yet to be found.

Come see our newly discovered area "Silent Splendor." Silent Splendor has been hailed as a must see in Arkansas. Silent Splendor houses one of the longest soda straw formations in the Ozarks measuring over an incredible 9 feet!

Don't forget to bring your camera. In our Buddha Room we actually have a picture studio set up where our guides will take your family picture with your camera... no charge. This really makes a great personal souvenir.

"Some beautiful formations and well-informed guides"

Had a wonderful tour through this cave with an informed guide. Some nice formations, not rushed while learning so much history and geology. Well run and although busy, was without huge crowds or a long wait. Just a short drive outside of Branson, MO. Nice rock shop in the gift area.

"Neat Cave - Lots of Stairs"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

Cool cave, best suited for mobile adults and older children. We had a good time but, per the website, we were not expecting so many stairs. However, the staff were exceptionally kind, and it was obvious that our tour guide was passionate about the cave. The visitor’s center is large and has restrooms and chairs, along with historic documents and cave artifacts, which our children enjoyed. My MIL has mobility issues, so she did not go on the tour. She enjoyed browsing the gift shop and said the staff were very friendly and accommodating as she waited. All in all it was a nice visit! Just a suggestion, it may make sense to limit tour sizes to 15 and go faster or slower based on the age of the attendees (the younger ones need a little faster pace before getting squirrelly)! 😊
