“We were very impressed with the hotel overall – the cleanliness and service were truly excellent. However, we experienced recurring plumbing issues in our room. One time, the water wouldn’t drain in the bathtub, and another time, both toilets were clogged. This was disappointing and frustrating to deal with during a vacation, and unfortunately, it took away from the overall experience.”

I don’t often leave reviews but after reading some reviews prior to staying here, felt it would be useful to others. We stayed in a two bedroom suite in block 4 and it was perfect. As others have said, it was a little dated but it was spotlessly clean. It had two bathrooms and two balconies. The pools areas were lovely and were a nice touch opening late after a long day in the parks. The location is ideal. There are plenty restaurants, a Winn Dixie and a Millers Ale House within a ten minute walk. The shuttle buses had particular timings so we used them occasionally but all of the parks are 20 mins away so Ubers and Lyfts were very low cost. The staff were very helpful too. I would love to stay again.

"Overall a Good Place to Stay"

We arrived very late in the evening and was greeted by a very helpful lady who made us feel welcome after a very long and exhausting journey. The room was clean if not a little tired looking, but it was ideal for what we wanted which was a base from which to explore the local parks and area. Unfortunately the sink in the master bedroom was very slow to drain away which got worse the longer we were there and there was a very unpleasant drain smell. Our room was very close to a busy pool and the screaming kids at 10.00pm was very annoying and my only comment would be that the hotel insists on people being quiet if the use the pool late at night and why do people drink beer and eat food while sitting in the pool? On a few occasions we found food floating in the water. Overall it was ideal for us and we would stay again, hopefully the sink was an isolated incident and wouldn't happen again if we visited again.

"Closing pools when nit necessaryo"

Sun is out and the sky is blue. We’re kinda pissed though. They keep closing the pools when there is lightening 20 miles away. Beautiful here and the pools get closed. They said they always had this policy., but I don’t ever remember this being an issue. Many others are upset as well. Temps are high. The pools need to be open. If there lightening within 20 Miles in the last 30 minutes, it stays closed. AI says that 6 Miles is reasonable. 20 is just stupid. This is not fair. We’ve been there for 25 years when it was raining and still open. Blue tree needs to step it up or compensate those who paid good money to come here!

"An excellent stay at the Blue Tree Resort!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

My family and I (4 adults, 2 children) stayed at the Blue Tree Resort for 3 weeks and we cannot fault the place! We stayed in a very spacious 2 bedroom suite which was absolutely spotless. The kitchen was very well-equipped with everything we needed and with laundry facilities in the suite, it really was a 'home away from home'. The staff, grounds and location were superb and a selection of shops and restaurants were within walking distance. The only bad part of out stay was leaving to return home! We will be returning next year!
