Description

The fastest karts in Branson — world-class Sodi high-speed racing karts! Get your race on only at Xtreme Racing Center!

There are three different types of racing carts available at Xtreme Racing Center. It does take some skill to drive these carts on the 3,500-foot winding track. Therefore, you do have to qualify to drive them. The qualification process involves driving the GT5, showing drivability and good lap time. Racing chips in the carts keep track of lap time and are kept on the racer’s driving profile. All drivers must qualify in the GT5 kart before racing the X-Treme Kart.

Adult and Youth racers must be at least 52” tall to race on the adult course. Kid racers must be at least 48” tall to race on the junior course. Safety requirements allow for our Pit Crew members to have sole discretion in determining all racers’ ability to reach the pedals and steering wheel. Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended to race our karts. Balaclava's (head socks) are required to be worn inside our helmets. Helmets are provided. No double carts available.

The go carting was pretty fun except the engines were a bit old… the staff was also very rude. They made us leave in the end for no good reason!

Go karts were fine, but the people running the place make the whole experience terrible. They were very rude and disrespectful. They made our whole party leave because we’re from Mexico.

"Open when dude feels like it."

We got here at 7pm. Google says they close at 8, dude said they close at 10, but because it is slow, they decided to close early and won’t be open again until next weekend because of off-season. He ignored us at first while talking to 2 chicks. Other racers are still circling while we are talking. Google needs to be updated with off hours if they are going to be turning down groups during business hours.

Rode these a few years ago, the experience seemed much better then. Just recently went (Sept 2024), wanted to ride the carts a few times, Seems like every time we went there closed early, or weren't open at all (weather was nice). At least two times we walked all the way to the entrance just to find out there were closed when they were supposed to be open. Even once two employees stood in the parking lot and said nothing as we parked and walked to the entrance, they could have told us they were closed. Managed to ride them twice on my 4 day visit. On the first trip we stood at the line waiting to get into a car, the employee was sitting in one of the carts texting on his cell phone and just ignored us. After about five minutes he put his phone away and walked over to us. On the second trip two employees were refueling the carts, One was doing a good job, the other was dripping and spilling gasoline all over the inside and outside of the carts. The cart I got into had gasoline inside and I had to be careful the entire race not to get it all over my pants, and it smelled and had a headache for the rest of the night. After this I decided not to go back... not sure If I will ever return. People pay a lot of money to ride these carts you really need to treat customers better and run a better operation.

"Incorrect information on the website shortened our fun!"

Only reason I didn't rate with a 5 is because we buy season passes when we take our grandkids because this is the highlight of their trip. The website noted that there were going to be blackout dates for Memorial Day weekend, so I ended up buying the 5 ride packages for them. After the 2nd day, we noticed people using their season passes. I questioned the manager, and he said the site was incorrect. There wasn't a blackout for the weekend.
