"Would not stay there again."

The room felt very outdated and could definitely use some renovation. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise both from outside and within the hotel, which made it difficult to relax. However, the location was very convenient and a strong positive point of the stay.

"Old and gross rooms but workers are great"

They haven't changed the carpet in the rooms in 30 years! The rooms are sooo old and run down. This is NOT a 3 Star hotel. The desk in the room is barely standing, the wall paper is water stained, the caulk in the tiny show stall is moldy. It's just soooo old and run down. The people are very nice. Desk, restaurant, housecleaning, even yoga with Paige from Zen Fitness, were just lovely. If the owners would just renovate, I'd tell people to come here. It's steps to the beach, after all. But, I don't think I'll get the stench from this room off my clothes, so alas, don't select this hotel - there are too many other options - until they invest in the property.

The property is conveniently located a short walking distance from the beach. The beach area near the hotel is also very kid friendly. There is a café downstairs, but it is only open for breakfast until 10:30 AM. There is a small general store. Please note that the hotel will be renovated in the spring of 2027. It is dated, but it is still a pleasant place to stay. If you are getting a city view room please do not expect a view of anything other than the buildings and patios next door. The front desk manager was very helpful and the plumber came very promptly. The beds were comfortable and there is a small refrigerator and a coffee maker in the room. there is a wheelchair ramp at the valet area. Guess must walk downstairs to the parking garage.

My stay at this resort was very nice, we had a beautiful view of both Diamond Head and the ocean. Our room was on the 18th floor, which was really nice. What I did not like was the overpriced parking, the springs in the bed, the terrible pillows and bad bedroom lighting. All of which can be easily fixed, but far over priced to deal with.
