"Nice hotel super close to beach"

Nice hotel, great staff. Loved the ILIMA cafe in lobby especially the fresh fruit bowls. Great location super close to beach. Very clean. Only criticisms were I wish the pool was warmer, and the room had a full length mirror.

Fabulous view. Smaller room/beds, but comfortable. Very sketchy wi-fi. Great location to beach and shopping. Good price. Attractive lobby. Mostly friendly front desk staff. Convenient car rental on property. All in all, a place I would be happy to come back to.

The location cannot be beat. It is one block from Waikiki Beach - easy walk to and from the hotel room, with many snacks, drinks and rentals in the surrounding blocks. We prefer this end of Waikiki Beach. Our package included breakfast vouchers so we started each morning with an amazing breakfast, which really enhanced our stay. Don't skip it! I think we tried everything on the menu. While the hotel offered daily activities, we only had time to take the mat pilates class which was on the beach! The instructor provided mats and good instruction. This was fantastic - they also had yoga, lei-making and hula dancing. So much fun for our family of four with teenagers. The resort has a bar - we didn't get a chance to try, but popped our heads in and the staff welcomed us and encouraged us to come back later in the night when they had a DJ. They have a little game room which the kids liked. They have laundry facilities if needed - we didn't use it. They had fresh beach towels whenever you want to switch out for new ones. They had a market store with everything you may need - snorkels, sunblock, clothing, souvenir, snacks, beer, etc. In the lobby was a rental car office (not part of the hotel). We were able to rent a car for one day to drive to the North Shore and because the office stays open later than other places, we were able to return it in the evening without paying for overnight parking. And they deliver the car to the front driveway where you also drop off. So convenient! There were plentiful staff always, who were helpful and friendly with every request. The rooms were cleaned daily and were very clean. My only negatives - on first impression, the room appeared a little worn and a bit small for two adults and two teens, but we did not spend much time in our room. The AC was a little loud and on the last day didn't seem to be working too well. But the many great things about the hotel completely outweighed the minor quibbles. It's not a fancy upscale resort, but it is has plenty of charm, value, and convenience and really made our stay much more enjoyable.

"Customer service important"

Your resort fee does not cover enough. All I wanted was coffee a a heated pool. Coffee maker didn’t work on Tuesday and Wednesday but luckily Dave and Connor were very accommodating. DJ was very sweet and warm. Unfortunately Brandon is not warm nor sweet. He is polite but no warmth or sympathy for the negative experiences of the guests. He says things politely but sort of in your face. He is the face of your resort and had it not been for Michael I would have been a lot more upset. Michael was sympathetic to our needs as guests and although the outcome did not change, he made me feel better by being kind and sympathetic.

The resort was nice, breakfast was confusing, mentioning we were able to go to the buffet, but then we were turned away. Also, the biggest downfall was $47.50 per day to park your car. It was another $500 out of pocket Just to park there.
