"Filthy"

We had booked the Family Suite (adjoining rooms). The kids' room (2 queen beds) had mouse droppings in the air conditioner, countertops had not been wiped off, and toilet was unflushed. The entire building was in need of a deep cleaning. There were also mouse droppings in the hallway. We ended up cancelling our reservation and staying elsewhere. The young man at the front desk was fantastic and so apologetic.

"Good hotel within walking distance of Universal Studios"

Having read the existing reviews I was nervous of staying here. But it was a good stay. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from Universal Studios. It’s a short walk, with a couple of moderate slopes up towards Universal. The path was well-lit and felt safe, even after dark. Parking is provided in a garage underneath the hotel. There is limited parking, but it wasn’t anywhere near full when we arrived. There is a separate charge for parking (self park), but that is pretty standard in some parts of LA. The hotel are happy for you to leave your car and walk to Universal - avoiding the need to pay there too. The rooms are clean and functional. At a guess the hotel is around 20-25 years old. We had a family room (two queens beds), which included a fridge, microwave, in-room coffee maker and sink. The beds were clean and comfortable, and we slept well. The hotel do not provide breakfast (though clearly did at some point in the past). They do provide free 24/7 self-service coffee and juice in the lobby area. Finally, there is an indoor pool. It’s not massive, but kept the kids entertained.

Ok first their where yellow stuff on the bed there was pee on the toilet the door nob was falling a lot and the hotel was oddly scary the plow was as hard as a rock also have of the time the workers where not there also. Me and my family saw the werd man do not stay here

Three electrical outlets did not work. The water from the sink was brown when it first ran. There was no breakfast as listed on the website. The indoor pool was a room in the garage. Overcharged. No toilet paper in main bathroom. No manager onsite.
