"How many chances should we give them?"

Do not believe a word they say. This used to be a great hotel but now it has been taken over by a group that gets you to sign up for one of their "great vacation" opportunities. I told them on checking in that I had experienced very negative treatment by other vacation and rental properties groups. They told me that "I am asking you to trust us, we are different from those other groups". I was promised that my stay would be reimbursed. It wasn't. I received a call from Thousand Hill resorts and they apologized and said they would get this resolved and asked me to give them a positive review. That was later in March. No refund came. In April I called again and was told that they would get this taken care of. They were on the phone with the appropriate parties and that my refund was "on it's way". It is now almost June and no refund. That is only part of the problem. The breakfast was terrible, the beds not comfortable. Needless to say buyer beware. I know that our family and friends will not be staying here any longer

"Awful scammy vacations"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed May 23, 2025 NEW
Room- tiny maybe 14ft by 16ft.... if you've ever been to a city jail cell this is about the size. The interior is heinous with late 80s decor. Black mold in the shower. No daily housekeeping so your trash just lingers unless you bag it up and set it outside your door. This is more like a hostel than a hotel. Price- I paid a grotesque 550 for 2 nights for a room that should be less than 75 per night. If you are unwilling to give your info to timeshare conartists this place will charge you like they are a 4star resort when they are a 2star at best Service- one big marketing scheme with the scammers at blue green vacations, honestly after this I will no longer buy my fishing gear at basspro due to their association with this group of shady characters. Location- could be decent but they cram as many poor souls into this scam as possible with little regard for parking. Management no need to reply to this review I can't be bought at least not with your offer of more time at this or any of your other garbage properties. I'm just glad I didn't catch hepatitis here....(hopefully)

"Not What I Expected"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed May 08, 2025 NEW
It was ok! Not all what we expected... the pictures look better than what you get. The overall property is clean. We got a clean room 15 minutes after check in. The breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast: I would never $10 for the breakfast served: eggs, sausage, yogurt, canned fruit, oatmeal, French sticks, milk, cereal... Glad they gave us vouchers-- I would have drove to a Country buffet that was Grand and on the strip. They try to sell you tickets but their prices are much higher than BOGO at a building in the color purple. The pool was relaxing-- if go during season I don't think they can fit more than 5 families in the swimming pool. Would I stay at this hotel again... most likely not.

"Nice and Affordable"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed April 12, 2025
This was our second stay at Thousand Hill Resort Hotel. Clean place and affordable. I booked the updated King room. Although it was nice, it did not appear updated. The breakfast was decent. It is a nice location and walking distance to many things to do. Right across the street from the aquarium and our favorite eating spot, Cakes and Creams. We will book here again.
