Thousand Hills Resort Hotel in Branson, MO

Avoid this hotel at all costs. The first room we were given had roaches on the wall. After waiting nearly 30 minutes just to check in, we were moved to another room that was still dirty, barely stocked, and had thick dust on the fan. The night staff tried, but the place is clearly understaffed and poorly managed. The morning manager couldn’t care less — no apology, no accountability, nothing. To top it off, they refused a late checkout after wasting our time getting a decent room. This hotel is tacky, unclean, and a terrible reflection of Branson. Tourists deserve better. Spend your hard-earned money somewhere else.

Paid for "upgraded " room got what you see in the pictures. ELVIS era wornout furniture and a dresser we had to wedge paper towels into keep the doors from sliding out on there own. Shower drained slowly or not at all. Rusted fixture in bathroom. Complained and nothing done. AC stuck on high 2 nights and had to shut system off to warm room up. Cheap price and we got what we paid for. No offer to refund amount we paid extra for "updated" room we obviously did not get. Time spent trying to sell you show tickets and packages needs to be spent on customer service and fixing problems. Would have given 1 star but breakfast was good and hotel seemed clean.

smelled like national cigar competition in the room. Shower sprayed the ceiling, walls and floor. Phone had 17 buttons missing. internet was the worst I have ever used. worse than 300kb dialup toilet seat dangerously loose. cover for the indoor ac fell off could not adjust the fan speed dirty and old and worn out. fitness center tv broken It had 20 excellent reviews this month and must have been falsified.

I want to start first in saying that the hotel maintenance (which we saw too many occasions) housekeeping that we didn't use. and restaurant staff (only two breakfast visits) one item can't ruin it for them, just drain the. EGGS. We searched and searched for a hotel so we could enjoy a ROMANTIC getaway with morning breakfast in our room. So I found a corner room with a view, that offered ROOM SERVICE, they listed it, even though they QUIT OFFERING IT LAST YEAR, rather than take it off their page. When we arrive for 4pm check in. We went up and it wasn't the room we paid for the room started cool, but not for long, we were unpacking I didn't want to start it off complaining about the room, but we walked into the other room and it was 25-30 degrees warmer, the hallway was already hot and humid. I went to call the front desk and it didn't work. Off to be front desk, they called maintenance to meet me there, I ask why didn't we receive the room we paid for, instead of an apology, another employee made snide remark, you have a bigger room. I'm livid, trying to keep my head as the maintenance staff we were expecting. It took them what seemed like forever but the AC unit, couldn't be repaired. The maintenance man could see we were frustrated and I didn't want to make that trip back to the front desk. He said he would go and bring a cart while he secured another room. We repacked everything by the time we were moved. To the other room with crappie views and unpacked again it was almost 3 hours, it blew our dinner plans. The new room we never got cold AC until the last night, just cool but a bit muggy. They have a microwave in the room,but ours, you had to call maintenance if you wanted it fed through the wall unit. I just put the unit on the end table Every morning by the time we left we were soaking wet with sweat, the hallways, were warm but the elevators were hotter, the lobby not muc
