"This place needs some attention."

Okay, location is great. Besides that, the place is dysfunctional. The garage closed for cleaning without any notice to us. Since the garage was closed, so was valet. The front desk employee had not been informed, so neither were we. One of the elevators was inoperative for the first day until we informed the desk. The second elevator had pistachio shells dumped on the floor and they were not picked up for 2 days, meaning nobody is sweeping or wiping down the elevators. Our sink backed up with black sludge, our toilet rocked on its base (and we are small people), one of the bedside table glass tops leaned like the Tower of Pisa if you didn't balance your possessions like a teeter-totter. The window was a nice addition for fresh air in the bathroom, but since the screen looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since this hotel was the Barbary Coast, it's useless. The Keurig coffee maker was a nice addition but charging for coffee pods, not so much. This property needs a little attention from its parent company, Caesars Entertainment.

"Great location"

Great central location with nice bar and gaming facilities, however as others have noted the rooms are dark. Very comfortable bed and clean room. Coffee maker with no free coffee, purchase required and never seen that before. Owned by Ceasers so free access to Flamingo and Ceasers pools.

This is a small casino, but love the 5.00 Mississippi Stud table. Bartender there (Angelina) rocks. Great personality and makes a great Margarita.

"Cheerful front desk staff"

Upon arriving at The Cromwell Hotel after a long journey from New York, it was refreshing to be greeted with genuine warmth and enthusiasm by Brandon at the front desk. His cheerful, friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. The Cromwell should be proud to have employees like Brandon. The rooms however were small and extremely dark. Too bad the bathrooms are occupying the outside wall where more windows should be. Also, the wi-fi didn't work (hotel-wide issue) and both the sink and shower drains were slow to empty. The toilet was loose in its mount to the floor (I am not a heavy person at 185 lbs) and the shower door handle was loose. The bathroom sink handles were shut in crazy angles. The room chandelier was very crookedly askew. It seemes a bit strange that the full length mirror in the room was a two-way mirror with the one built into the shower, so you can see into the shower from the room side while also seeing your reflection. Also, we were SO surprised and disappointed to know that there was a Keurig coffee machine in the room but NO complimentary coffee in the room as there is in every other hotel in the world. There were Keurig coffee pods for sale for $22, plus tax (4-pack), so bring your own pods! There was an array of snacks on the dresser, but NO price list, so beware. Also, there's a $62/night resorts fee which was NOT disclosed on the Stayforlong.com booking website, so again, beware.
