The Cove Hotel is nestled in an area of Long Beach that needs more attention from the city. However the hotel is vibrant, clean and quaint. I do see potential in the rooms such as updating blinds and other fixtures. Overall, the staff made the stay wonderful. The check-in was smooth, the restaurant is limited yet the staff were accommodating and kind. The evening cook/cashier provided alot of extras for our meal and the morning cook/cashier let us try a smoothie and gave us extra berries and smoothie for my family of 5. The giant chess, pool and fireplace area kept the family entertained.

We checked in for a precruise stay, met by a very pleasant member of staff who upgraded our room [bonus] The hotel is very bright, clean and has a good feel about it. We stayed in for dinner lastnight and Estelle behind the bar was good company. Our room a king patio was comfortable and clean and breakfast was fresh and hot. All the staff we spoke to were very pleasant, helpful and happy to help. We would definitely recommend the Cove and will use it for future cruise stay overs
