Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Surfside Beach, SC

We have stayed at Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel multiple times and have had a wonderful experience every single time. Every room has a view of the ocean & pristine Surfside Beach. There is a pool & a hot tub. There are many restaurants & activities within walking distance. It is right next to the beautiful Surfside Pier. Staff is great. Facilities are clean & comfortable. GM Phil Vassar went above & beyond for us while we were in transition moving to South Carolina!

A very Lovely Halloween Vacation at Surfside Beach Hotel in South Carolina 2024. This Hotel is well kept and newly renovated each year! Very Clean with accommodating folks at the Front Desk! Always very kind and helpful at arrivals for check ins. Always someone behind their counter to wait on you. This says a lot in itself! There is plenty of Parking also. Including garage Parking, with two big lots on both sides, and also out front on the street side! A brand new Fishing Pier on this property had just opened before we arrived this year! You don't necessarily need your car once you get there, unless you want to visit other beaches or go to Shopping Malls, Walmart's etc.... Bubbas Fish Shack is straight across the street as well as River City Grill just across the parking lot for the best Hamberger's on the Beach! Also has a beautiful Swimming Pool and lots of lounge Chairs for suntanning! When hurricane Helene came through the Florida Pan Handle and headed for Asheville NC destroying all routes to be closed for 3 days before we could drive home the General Manager "Lori" let us stay for 3 extra days at the same price rate we checked in with! This hardly ever happens, but we got to stay in our same room without having to move! But that was only because no one else had a reservation to come into our room at check time. Somebody else with a higher power was watching over us "All" in this Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel! It was the safest place in the whole southeast Atlantic Ocean and Coastal Area, even Inland all the way up through North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia. Several Inerstate Highways and State Roads were washed out and close down! Only a few puddles of water remained on the streets here, after a hard rain and winds only 25 mph. Even after the Storm Helene had passed by within 24 hours! We felt Very Secure in this Building Strongly Built with all Concrete and Steel! We finally found a route home through Charlotte NC on Interstate 77 North to Virginia and then back South to TN! Our Vacation was the most wonderful Stay here at the SC Surfside Beach! Not even the Hurricane interrupted our Halloween Vacation! It only made it better by extending our stay for 3 beautiful sunshiny days with winds only 5 mph! We had never stayed here so I wasn’t sure what to expect We needed an earlier check in time as we were checking out from a weeks stay at a vacation house and wanted to finish up our weekend at the hotel. From the start the staff was very professional and kind. They told us they would let us know as soon as the room was ready and even refrigerated our perishables until we could get in the room. The hotel itself is very clean throughout, the room had comfy beds and god shower pressure. Cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon checkout Sandra did a wonderful job accommodating our day early check out ( weather was terrible) and helping us figure out how to best utilize our credit . We really appreciated her help and understanding. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

Hotel was extremely clean and even though it was near restaurants and bars it was still very quiet. I would stay there again.

This was my second visit to this place and it was a wonderful trip. The hotel is always clean, staff is super friendly and helpful, pool time and the beach were perfect for a relaxing vacation. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return.
