Does Star Island Resort & Club have a restaurant? A lounge? Café? Gift Shop?

There is not a full-fledged restaurant on-site. However, there is a snack shack located on-site, where guests can purchase you can purchase hamburgers, sandwiches, subs, chicken wings, chicken tenders, egg rolls, fries, salads, bagels with cream cheese, muffins, Danish, fresh fruit, ice cream, coffee, tea, etc. The snack shack hours are 8:00 am – 11:00 pm daily. There are 2 pool bars - one downstairs open from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm and one upstairs that is open at 4:00 pm. TGI Fridays is within walking distance and sits in front of the resort.

What is the minimum age required for check-in?

The reservation holder must be at least 21 years of age to check-in at this property. A valid, matching, government-issued ID and a credit card are required at check in.

Does Star Island Resort & Club charge a resort fee?

There is a daily resort fee of $15 per unit per day plus tax ($17.02). The suite or villa is cleaned before the guest arrives and then after the guest's departure. The unit is equipped with a starter kit, which consists of toiletries, toilet paper, and dishwashing liquid for the first day. After the starter kit runs out, each guest is responsible for purchasing all other supplies they will use during their stay. The resort also requires a $200 refundable security/incidental credit card hold deposit at check. This is a credit card hold. This deposit is for charging incidentals items to your room account. (If you choose to use a bank debit/credit card that are attached to a checking account, please be aware that a hold will be placed on the account for the anticipated dollar amount of the stay including incidentals through your date of departure. Funds will not be released for 72 business hours from the date of departure or longer at the discretion of your bank). This deposit may be applied towards your final payment. All fees mentioned are subject to change without prior notice, and applicable taxes.

Do you charge for cribs or rollaways at Star Island Resort?

There is no charge for cribs, however, a rollaway bed is $10.00 per day. Fees are subject to change and applicable taxes.

What are the pool hours at Star Island Resort?

The pools are open from 7:00 am – 11:00 pm. Hours of operation are subject to change and weather conditions.

Is late check-in available at Star Island Resort?

All reservations are guaranteed so the guest may check-in any time after 4:00 pm. If you arrive before 4:00 pm and the room is available, the resort may allow check-in.

Does Star Island Resort & Club have shuttles to the theme parks or shopping malls?

The resort does not offer shuttle services to the theme parks or shopping malls. A concierge desk will be able to help you arrange your transportation. Fees apply.

Can guests receive packages while at Star Island Resort?

Yes, packages for guests can be sent to the resort. There is a handling fee of $3.00 for each package received by the resort. If a package is delivered during your stay, include the guest's name and reservation number. Be sure to call the hotel directly to obtain your hotel reservation number. Upon arrival, please call Ext. 6000 to verify your package has arrived and make arrangements for delivery. *Due to space limitations, the resort does not accept packages more than two weeks before arrival. Yes, the resort provides amenities for those with accessibility needs. Accessible units, pool areas, public spaces and registrations are available.
