"The no fun allowed resort."

I have been an RCI member for 30+ years. I have never stayed at a resort that feels more like a military school than anything else. We checked in on Saturday and was given a hard time because I am co-owners with my mother and she didn't come with us. I had my own owners card with my name on it and the confirmation email that was sent directly to me. I was asked to give an itemized list of anyone who could possibly be staying and/or visiting me this week. I was told that I could not add any name after I check in. I was asked how many room keys I needed and requested to. I later found out that you need a wristband to even breathe on this property. We have been here four days already, and have gone into the pool without wearing the wristbands. You have to show the parking pass in order to get on the property. You need to enter a code to get into the pool area. You need to show your wristband to get towels. Why is there a need to wear the wristband in the pool area? I was on a call with my boss when an employee walked over and rudely interrupted the phone conversation about the wristband. I showed her the wristband and she would not stop harassing me that it was not on my wrist. Another employee came over and said I'm sending security over. That was 20 minutes ago. I'm guessing they have better things to do Than to confront me about a wristband that is in my hand and not on my wrist. There are only 20 people at the pool. It's not like the place mall and everyone is fighting for seats. There is no shade at the pool area. If you need shade, you are able to rent an umbrella. Think of the cost in that after staying seven days. They pick and choose when they enforce rules. If you have a bottle of water and take a step away from The side of the pool. You're told to come back and rest your water bottle on the ledge. Children are not allowed to play with water toys in the pool either. In fact, their market only sells noodles and tubes. Their activities for children are also a joke. They spent 15 minutes playing games and that was it. With so many other choices in the Kissimmee area, coming back here is a hard no for us.

If you’re used to Wyndham quality—don’t stay here. We booked a full week in a 2-bedroom unit and added two extra nights. Those first two nights were awful. Our first room was outdated, dirty, and surrounded by loud, obnoxious guests. Music, stomping, yelling—nonstop. After way too much back-and-forth with the front desk, we were finally moved to a newer unit that actually met Wyndham standards. But getting there was a headache. The pool was cloudy with hair floating in it, and the whole place felt neglected and unkept. Customer service was a struggle. Bottom line: the second room was fine, but the experience as a whole? Not worth it. We won’t be back.
