A nice stay at Southwest Inn at Sedona. Stayed 1 week for a more central location for what we wanted to see. 89a is a wonderful drive either north or south. Breakfast was good, parking good. Nice pool. Location in West Sedona, slower pace then Uptown. Nice view from balcony room. Sedona is a beautiful place to see and surrounding area.

We love staying at Boutique Hotels, and this one did not disappoint. Love the quiet location, close to but not in the downtown area, so Uber is affordable, but you still get a good night’s sleep. The room was very clean and private, we didn't hear guests in the adjacent rooms at all. The Inn is just 2 blocks from one of the 3 Sedona Shuttle locations which will take you to the trailheads for free, alleviating the need to hassle with driving and wasting your time being unsuccessful in finding one of the limited parking spots. The breakfast area was very tidy with simple and healthy food options to start your day. Loved it, would definitely stay there again.

"Great location a few miles from the city center and away from the TRAFFIC"

Nice hotel but does not look like the photo. Staff nice. Melissa was working breakfast area and then the front desk. She was helpful in many ways! Chris was a great guy and went out of his way to make our visit good. Our room was nice and comfy.(no elevators) So while we were very happy with a beautiful view, we had to lug our suitcases up and down. When sitting on porch area, you can hear everything your neighbors were saying and their smoking was stinky and rude, so we did not sit out for long. This Inn is on the South end of town. Plenty of choices to eat and 2 grocery stores near by. Green Lime Tours picked us up in the parking lot. This place is also close to the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park.(Buddhist Temple).

"Great stay at a great location."

Great stay at a great location. Definitely a resort feel to the location with the decor and running fountains. The rooms are huge with a fireplace and very comfortable beds. The bathroom is very large also with a very nice bath/shower. Outdoor patio to your room which is great for just sitting and enjoying the mountains that the hotel faces. Make sure you ask for a second floor. Breakfast is more than adequate. Good eggs, omelets, waffles, fruit and pastries. Again, a nice patio to sit outside and enjoy breakfast. The heated pool and hot tub have a handicap chair to assist getting in for those that need it. The front desk was more an accommodating for the dates and pricing when checking in. One odd thing was in the morning when checking out, you talked to a computer screen. Not sure where they actually were but they can see you. We spoke with housekeeping for a question we had instead--of whom were very nice. The pricing is a bit deceiving as you are charged a 'resort' fee over and above the price of the room. When asked about what that fee all covered, it was stated that is covering the breakfast in the morning. ??? Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Our room was clean, nicely decorated with comfortable beds and quiet. We so enjoyed the fireplace, nice surprise! Breakfast was more than adequate in a very nice breakfast room. There are places to eat close by but definitely do not recommend the pizza place across the street.
