Located in Northern California's famed Napa Valley an hour north of San Francisco, Silverado Resort is a captivating Four Diamond spa and golf resort set on 1,200 rolling acres with oak-lined roads and fairways, and surrounded by vineyards. This world-class destination resort offers PGA championship golf, a deluxe spa experience, fine dining, and endless recreational opportunities.

A legendary California landmark for over 150 years, the Silverado Resort originally began as a private estate. The historic Mansion at Silverado Resort was built in the early 1870's as the residence of General Miller. Silverado Resort opened as a semi-private golf club in 1955 and as a full-service resort in 1966.

The upscale Silverado Resort features over 100 guest rooms, 228 suites, two PGA championship 18-hole golf courses, three outdoor swimming pools, nine recently resurfaced Plexipave tennis courts, three pickleball courts, and a 16,000-square-foot spa and fitness center. Additional features include the Grill restaurant, Mansion Bar, and 70,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event and activity space.

Resort fee: A $40 plus tax resort fee is charged nightly, collected upon arrival. This fee includes internet, self-parking, main resort pool, fitness center, in-room Keurig coffee and tea, 800 and local Napa calls, tennis court fees, and golf bag storage.

The Spa at Silverado's facilities and amenities are available for all registered resort guests ages 16 years or older and include access to the sauna, steam room, whirlpool, locker lounges and lap pool for a daily fee of $40.

Pet Policy: Pets are not permitted. However, ADA-defined service animals and emotional support animals are welcome. Please make a note when booking your reservation if you are traveling with a service animal. Guests with service animals will need a downstairs unit.

Parking: Complimentary self-parking is available for cars and motorcycles. RVs or any oversized vehicles are not permitted. Valet parking is not available.

Room is dirty, mold on the bathroom floor, baseboards worn/dirty, rug frayed. Heater makes annoying noise, so either freeze or not have any peace/quiet. Room is too small, no place to work. I thought I had reserved a new remodeled section of the resort based on the website description, but was assigned room 653 which is badly in need of basic maintenance.

Hubby and I checked this place out to visit Napa and it did not disappoint! The second we drove up, everyone was super nice. Very attentive staff, great location, and great amenities. If we decide to go back to Napa, this is where we'll stay. The ONLY negative thing I will say is that when we turned out the logs from the fireplace, there was so much smoke and it stunk up the room throughout the entire next day. Also, the bath towels had a weird smell. Not dirty or bad, just weird.

Silverado is a beautiful property but every time we stay it always is a slow check in. This time it took 20 minutes to check in! Only one person working & no concierge (interesting at 5:30 pm) so she got very involved recommending restaurants, on & off property & highlighting their menus. Also, there is no longer maps that are given out with directions to unit. So guests are taking a photo of plastic map that is highlighted with dry erase marker & then the next person checking in waits for it to be cleaned off. Our unit was nice but sliding door was open in room.

My stay at the resort for a work retreat, which included my family, was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful, and the staff's commitment to guest satisfaction went above and beyond any expectation. A prime example of this exceptional service was when my 5-year-old daughter dropped her iPad a harrowing 15–20 feet down a steep embankment behind a short wall. It seemed completely lost. However, the dedicated Grounds Keeping and Maintenance Crews spent almost an hour working together, creatively 'engineering' a custom long-reach pole and hook to successfully retrieve it. We cannot thank these incredible teams enough for their tireless effort and ingenuity. This level of personalized care truly made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend!
