Although you pay full price, you do not get the same as before. Several places in the park were closed, including shops, shows, eateries, and rides. It's not the same SDC I use to know.

I have visited Silver Dollar City throughout my life and the changes are not appealing. I loved the crafts and now it is just another amusement park. It is sad to see what was for adults and enjoyable for all become just another place of rides and kids.

We had a group of people from 8 to 40+ and we all found something we loved about Sliver dollar city. We went during a very hot day and there was lots of places for you to cool down get water... play in water or ride water rides. There was areas for younger kids as well as rides for big kids. We all just loved Sliver dollar City

Tip: Wear comfortable shoes you may be doing alot of walking, but most rides the wait time was not too long. Also definitely consider the food pass it was a great deal for our family.

Silver doller city has changed alot in the 26 years since I was last there so few craftsman the wood workers only preparing the forge only getting ready no ladies on corner quilting making prari hats braiding bracelets face painting ... The building were kids made leather works either gone or unfindable... We had a fine time the blue grass music was fun but it has become so much more commercial than when my girls were young . Please bring back the history of home maid crafts everything I looked at was too expensive for o middle class famit

How long should I plan to stay at Silver Dollar City?

It depends - there is so much entertainment to experience. We recommend at least one entire day. Two days during our festivals.

Can you bring food into Silver Dollar City?

Yes. You are welcome to bring snacks, beverages and even small coolers with you into Silver Dollar City (excluding glass containers or alcoholic beverages).

If my child is a toddler age three years or younger, are they admitted to free to the park?

Yes! Children age 3 and younger are admitted free of charge.

Are strollers, wheelchairs, lockers, and electric carts available at Silver Dollar City?

Strollers and lockers are available to rent at the park on a first-come basis for a nominal fee. Wheelchairs and electric convenience vehicles (ECV's) are available for rent at the park on a first-come basis for a fee. Advance reservations are recommended by calling the park directly. - Lockers: $8 per day - Strollers: Single $20.00 full day, Double $25.00 full day

Does Silver Dollar City serve alcoholic beverages?

Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas. For the convenience of smokers and non-smokers alike, 14 designated smoking areas are located as indicated on the park map.

Does Silver Dollar City have a dress code?

Silver Dollar City is a family-friendly environment and requires appropriate dress. Although some of rides and attractions may get you wet, swimsuits are limited to children 8 and under only. While on rides, children 8 and under will be asked to wear shorts over swimwear; all others wearing swimsuits will be required to wear an appropriate coverup at all times. Guests wearing clothing that may be offensive or inappropriate (including profanity or suggestive material) will be asked to change. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. The use of shoes with built-in skates or wheels is prohibited. Silver Dollar City reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone not properly attired, and appreciates your help in keeping the park a great place for families to visit.

Are cameras and video cameras permitted in the park and at the shows?

Yes, in all areas of the park.

My spouse and I have difficulty with walking for long periods of time. Will we enjoy the park?

The park's terrain does have some hills. However, Silver Dollar City provides numerous benches and shaded areas throughout the park. Many activities are at the bottom of the park so you may want to rent an electric cart.

How much is parking at Silver Dollar City?

The majority of the parking at Silver Dollar City is free! At most parking locations, a tram or bus will pick you up and take you to the admission gate. Parking for guests with disabilities is available to those with a permanent or temporary disabled parking tag, located close to the main admission gates, and next to the conveyance pick-up in parking lots 2, 4 and 5. Preferred and Premier parking for automobiles and motorcycles are also located close to the park's main gates, and is available for a small fee. Preferred Parking - $18 plus tax: Located a short walk from Silver Dollar City's front gate, allowing you to get from your car to the park easily and also giving you quick access to your vehicle Premier Parking - $58 plus tax: Closest parking spaces located to Silver Dollar City's front gate — just steps away from the main entrance. Limited availability.

Does Silver Dollar City have rides for children?

Yes. The Grand Exposition, Half Dollar Holler® and Fireman's Landing® have play areas designed specifically for children.

Are loose articles allowed on the rides?

Loose articles are not permitted on most rides. (This includes: hats, purses, cell phones, cameras, bags, personal electronics, pocket change, keys, etc.) Waist or fanny packs are not permitted on The GIANT Swing, Outlaw Run, PowderKeg, Thunderation or Wildfire. The park recommends you leave valuables with a non-rider or secure them in a park locker, available for rent. Unsecured storage bins are available at most rides, however, Silver Dollar City cannot take responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged articles. Articles taken on Mystic River Falls, the American Plunge and RiverBlast will get very wet.

Are there ride restrictions?

Some rides have height, size, and health restrictions. These restrictions are established by the ride manufacturers to ensure guest safety. A Rides Guidebook can be picked up at the Rentals/Lost And Found Booth.

Are rides open at silver dollar city in December?

Even though the temperatures are cooler, all of the rides (except water rides) are typically open throughout the Silver Dollar City Christmas season. Inclement weather and temperatures below 42 degrees may impact some rides. During these times, there is still plenty of indoor attractions, shops and restaurants to visit until weather passes.

What do my Silver Dollar City tickets include?

Silver Dollar City tickets include shows, rides and cave tours (except Lantern Light Tours). You only play for your food or merchandise items you choose to purchase. Also, there are some games and classes available to park patrons for a fee.

Does Silver Dollar City serve breakfast?

Yes. Enjoy a hot and hearty breakfast buffet at Molly's Mill Restaurant on the City's square, served 8:30 - 11:00am each operating day March through October.

My children already have a ticket to enter the park. What age can they enter the park without an adult?

Guests must be 16 years of age or older to enter the park unaccompanied. Those under the age of 16 must enter with a supervising companion 16 years of age or older.

Can I bring my pet to Silver Dollar City?

Only service animals are allowed in the park.

Yes, you can leave Silver Dollar City and reenter the same day. Just be sure to retain your ticket for re-entry.

Why do my Silver Dollar City E-Tickets only have one name listed on them?

The name on the E-Ticket is the primary ticket holder but the tickets are valid for all within your party.

When does the second day of my two day Silver Dollar City ticket expire?

You have five days from the first day of entry to use the second day entry for Silver Dollar City.
