Negatives: rooms not ready at 4pm as promised, was told I would receive a text when the rooms were ready. At 6pm I asked the front desk and was told one of the rooms is ready. What happened to that text? 6:30pm and 2nd room still not ready. Asked about it and was told it was not released by housekeeping yet. They had to call housekeeping and then it was magically ready. I was not offered any compensation. Was told via chat prior to check-in that the rooms are connecting. Turns out there are no connecting rooms in the hotel, so I was lied to. Used app to request extra blankets, the request was never honored. Had to call hours later to request blankets again. My 9 year old slipped and fell in the lobby restroom, which was disgusting. He came about 2 inches from hitting his head on the urinal divider, and Sheraton/Marriott would have had a major problem. Turns out the restroom had just been mopped (the mop was just outside the restroom door). No employees around and no sign indicating wet floor. Small rooms. One of the three elevators was not working, which caused major lines. Positives: friendly staff, location to Universal Studios, I feel like the price is reasonable. Comfortable bed. Shuttle to the park, even though you can walk in about 10 minutes. We are going back to Universal, but I will try Hilton next time.

We usually stay at the Universal hotels because of proximity to where our family in LA live, not necessarily for the theme park. That said, it is a great place to stay if you are going to Universal or the City Walk. You can't beat the location. However, for a trip longer than 1-2 days, I would not stay here. The room has NO storage other than a closet, not a single drawer for clothing and the rooms are tiny. Felt like a European sized hotel room, hence for three of us for 5 days it was a mess! We had nowhere to unpack so had to live out of our suitcases, therefore our room was a disaster the whole time, not fun to come home to a mess. The hotel itself is nice, just wish the rooms were more spacious with better storage. It is nice that the valet parking is only a little bit more expensive than the garage, made it easy to get our car each day. Avoid the brunch, very little food for $33. The bed was very comfortable, but the pull out couch was not (according to 11 year old son).

Amazing place. Crew is highly trained. They’re very organized and ready to help always. Area in front of lobby is something else. I would stay here every time I could. Joshua from valet was very Helpful and fast response. Thanks Sheraton, we spent an amazing week.

We had an excellent stay at the Sheraton! Universal Studios is a short walk away. All the staff was helpful and made the experience easy and fun. The breakfast was delicious, our room was spotless, and the valets were attentive. Special callout to Maria and the morning staff at the restaurant, who were so welcoming to us! Our 10-year-old said this was his favorite hotel stay ever!

I had an amazing experience at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to Jerry at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Jerry made us feel incredibly welcome. He was not only knowledgeable about the hotel and its amenities, but also gave us great recommendations for local attractions. His friendliness and helpfulness truly went above and beyond to make our stay so much more enjoyable. I can’t thank Jerry enough for his exceptional service. If you’re staying at this hotel, be sure to say hi to him! Highly recommend this place!
