"Not up to Sheraton standards"

Overall, we would not stay here again. During the early morning, we were surprised to hear a full conversation between two members of the cleaning staff—one in the hallway and the other inside a nearby room—who had to raise their voices to communicate. This went on for over 30 minutes which unfortunately disrupted the standard Sheraton atmosphere we expected. I was on a work call at the time and had to postpone my meeting until the noise had subsided. At a Sheraton, guests shouldn’t need to contact the front desk to request a peaceful environment. Unfortunately, the rooms also felt quite dated, which added to the overall sense that the experience didn’t align with the price point. When we asked the front desk for nearby breakfast recommendations, we were simply told there were “none” and to “eat at the hotel”. However, a quick Google search showed at least two breakfast spots with great reviews within a five-minute drive. For over $500 USD per night, we expected a much higher level of service and comfort. Guests shouldn’t have to chase down basic information or request a peaceful environment—it should be a given at this price point.

"Currently 4 1/2 Stars Working Towards 5 with Restoration"

We arrived at approximately 7:30 p.m. and were cheerfully greeted at the desk, checked in and headed to our room (a newly renovated room) within minutes for a six (6) day stay. We had events all over the area as well as the Falls. The team helped us to feel at home and welcome. The lobby had several informational areas so we were able to quickly orient ourselves to the pool and the Rainforest Cafe. The information desk was closed at night but open the next morning. The Starbucks was closed at night but open the next morning. There was an off-road drop off and pick-up area in front of the hotel and a city parking alongside it. Quite convenient for close to the Falls. Matt at the desk was awesome throughout our entire stay!! The location to the State Park and Niagara Falls is Fabulous! Direct and easy access to Buffalo, Tonawanda, Amherst, North Tonawanda, Kenmore, etc. Over the Falls tour company located in the lobby. Nice company. Recommend you call the office and ask for Karen. Also recommend driver Jeff. Breakfast not good in the hotel and not great in the casino across the street. Rainforest Cafe worked well with my 4-year-old grandson as well as the adults. Something for everyone. Pool was greatly enjoyed! Always busy but was monitored (not lifeguard) so behavior was appropriate for family. Beds comfortable. We could see fireworks out of our window. Coffee in our room. Lovely ice, laundry and washing/dryer room at the end of the hall. Some restoration going on but didn't bother us. But, be sure to get a renovated room! And, as I already mentioned, connect with Matt at the desk. He's really guest-centered awesome!

The hotel is very dated and is in the process of renovations. We were very disappointed that we paid for club level rooms - not worth it at all. Club rooms are on the 6th floor and the club lounge is temporarily located all the way down on the first floor. Snacks were extremely basic and sparse. The website specifically mentions "premium beer and wine" availability during happy hour - yet there was no alcohol at all available at that time. Appetizers included cut up pieces of deli meat and breakfast included powdered eggs. Food options are honestly better at a Hampton or even a Comfort Inn.
