Beautiful and brand new hotel. We went for spring break and my kids (6yrs and 8yrs) enjoyed the stay. The hotel has a pool with fire pits. We stayed for 3 nights and a guest of the hotel we were able to go to the adjacent hotels of Marbrisa and the Westin to enjoy the the waterslides. There is a private entrance we also got to use to get into legoland. We absolutely will stay here again when we come back to legoland.

It was supposed to be a six-night stay in a family suite, but the air conditioning couldn’t keep up. I called engineering, and they came out to set the temperature to 65 degrees, assuring me that it would cool down the room. Unfortunately, it didn’t. When I spoke with the front desk, I was informed that the hotel was sold out and we couldn’t change rooms. They brought us two fans, which made it more bearable at night with the sliding door open. On Day 2, I inquired about any available rooms and was again told there were none. We tried to stay outside until the sun went down, but it was challenging with both a one-year-old and a three-year-old. By Day 3, Gina called and offered me a portable AC unit. By that point, I was frustrated and declined. It seemed the AC struggled to keep up from 2 PM to 8 PM. I requested to move to another room, regardless of whether it was a family suite. I was then moved to two adjoining rooms, and the AC worked great. Everything was going well until I received a phone call from the front desk informing me that I had left luggage in the original room. I explained the entire situation and mentioned that we still had three nights left. The representative apologized, stating that someone had mistakenly recorded a one-night stay for one of the rooms. She assured me she would fix it and even offered to give me a credit, which I never received. Despite the challenges, I must commend Gina from the front desk and Daniel for their outstanding customer service! The hotel remodel was ok nice new furniture with a fresh new paint job. Some of the finer details like shower title work was not so good . The front door paint jobs were scratched up because of the wood housekeeping sign. Manny other fine details were also lacking !

This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel! Shout out to Prentiss at the bar as well as the chef- great food & service. Also, Jessica at the restaurant made a HUGE difference for us with her excellent service. A few suggestions, the door locks on the doors are tight & hard to open. Also, the restaurant manager this morning (April 8th) was not great- refused to seat us despite there being more than 50% of the tables empty. Made us stand there for 10 minutes- then sat us. We waited 15 minutes before Jessica took pity on us & provided exceptional service. The salt & stone amenities are amazing- just missing hand/body lotion. As an ambassador for Marriott, I was impressed, but there is still room for improvement.
