"Great location and staff"

Front desk staff was great. Restaurant staff was very considerate with our allergy restrictions and was not bothered by all of our questions on what ingredients were being used to cook certain dishes. All of the bathroom amenities has coconut in it (which we are allergic to) and the staff was able to find alternatives and brought hem to our room. Given that we came on a very busy weekend the hallways were not too noisy/we weren't able to hear guests talking through the walls which we really appreciated since it was our first time staying at a hotel with our baby. Some features in the room could use some updating but would definitely visit again especially since it is so close to major SD attractions.

"A lovely gem on Mission Bay"

We recently stayed at the Mission Bay Resort to celebrate our friend’s 50th wedding anniversary. We selected the resort because of its central location to attractions around San Diego as well as the resort amenities. The property is located right on the bay which provides a venue for daily walks, bike and boat rentals, sand volleyball, or just relaxing by their lovely pool. My husband and I rented a one bedroom suite that was beautiful and comfortable while one of our friends had a room with a fire pit where we gathered in the evening. We enjoyed many delicious meals at the Covewood restaurant as well as gathered for s’mores on the beach, and played chess on the huge chess board near the pool. The fireworks from Sea World in the evening (in the summer and certain holidays at other times of the year) was a highlight of the evening and capped off a wonderful day. The service is amazing and every encounter with staff including bell staff, front desk, gift shop, concierge, housekeeping, and bar/restaurant was great. The fitness center is well appointed and many of us used the gym or attended the yoga classes in the morning. Transportation to and from the resort via Uber was very easy and we were able to quickly secure two Uber XL vehicles to transport our party of 12. Bottomline, the Mission Bay Resort is a lovely gem on Mission Bay. A great location, with nice amenities, staffed by people who really care.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort. The property was beautiful and expertly maintained. We had a suite with a water view over the park and beach path which we walked numerous times. The room seemed newly updated with high quality furnishings and all the restaurants and public facilities were first class with great service. We enjoyed the added touch of live entertainment in the evening with drinks at the Plaza del Sol and during brunch at Covewood. The staff was very professional helpful and accommodating. In particular, Katie the concierge gave us great sightseeing and dining suggestions and assistance getting tickets for the city tour. Overall highly recommended.

Customer Service at the Mission Bay Resort was impeccable. The gentleman that took our reservation by phone when we called last week was knowledgeable, very hospitable and helpful. He was friendly and fun to speak with while he explained the room options and resort amenities. The concierge text once a day to check to see if we needed anything. Our checkin on October 31st was more than pleasant. The resort was perfectly located on the bay with a beautiful view from our top floor room (8th). The room was nice and we spent mornings on the balcony drinking coffee. We watched the sunset in the evening. We had lots of places to walk. The drive to Mission Beach Boardwalk was short. I recommend a visit there. La Jolla Beach Cove is a short drive or Uber ride. This is a must see. Don’t miss it. We had breakfast and dinner at the Cove. The food and service are great. You must try the steak dinner, mushrooms, carrots and gnocchi. All were delightfully tasty. My husband loved the Japanese beer on tap. This is a family friendly resort, even though we were there for two days of business and two days of vacation. It’s also great for couples and business. We traveled from South Carolina.

Here for a conference and unfortunately had a sprained ankle in a boot. Its a beautiful resort, no doubt. But the highlight were the staff. They were above and beyond helpful. Shoutout to Brianna who brought me a stool when i was preparing to present and needed it due to the boot. Overall i wish i could stay longer.
