Royale Palms Condominiums in Myrtle Beach, SC

Everything was clean and fantastic! This place is amazing!!big unit with a generous ocean front view Vjolanda and Tammie were fantastic helping us with the staff we needed and make sure everything was cleaned and working We plan to come after six months

We are staying in 200 one in Royal Palms and we are very happy with the service we received and thank you, and we will definitely be back. The unit is spacious roomie. We have two bedrooms and lots of living space very happy with the accommodations.. staff especially friendly. Yolanda and Tammi were extremely helpful. Thank the I think the lady so much for their service.

Had to wait 2 hours past check in to get into our room. Michael was kind, talked a lot & diffused the frustration :), and gave a voucher for free breakfast. Though we waited, the bathroom was dusty as in even dust build up on the lotion/ shampoo, etc bottles and the lotion was empty, but everything worked. The AC was noisier than usual for a hotel… And then at 2 AM the AC shut off and never came back on. And it quickly got warm in the room. The front desk staff quickly contacted maintenance, and he arrived quickly. He was apologetic and kind also-ended up he couldn’t fix it and asked if we wanted a new room. Yes, because the room was 75* in less than an hour. He quickly got us a room but it was a smaller room and not in the area we booked BUT the AC worked- he said to ask the front desk about it. Also, our stuff was all unpacked so we needed a cart (carts only available to bell staff). Called the desk to get a cart up and was told “the guy” that helped with the move could get it. Told him that guy left already and he said he’d find him. Got a cart delivered and were in the new room by 3:30AM. Also the desk staff about the difference in the room and he said that was all that was available and the AC works , and to talk to the morning staff. So talked to the morning staff - Lucky enough to be helped by Shonda. She was immediately on it- she got her supervisor right over (whose name I did not catch that morning) and was apologetic, sympathetic and empathetic all in one! She got us into a room as we had booked, and since it was going to take a bit of moving things around, she too gave us breakfast voucher. She was absolutely perfect in a frustrating situation with someone that was absolutely tired! And then-we were supposed to have received a text by 12-1p when the room was ready. Never did, and 3:30p rolled around - went back to the desk and she was on her way out with her bag and cup in hand BUT still stayed to see what the deal was, found out the room had been ready, and then got us our new key cards. This room worked out for the rest of our stay. All the staff at the Wet Whistle and the Amalfi Cafe were friendly and attentive no matter what time of day!!

We stayed at this hotel during what was supposed to be a peaceful family vacation — but instead, we experienced something truly disturbing and dangerous. One evening at the pool area, a group of aggressive individuals began shouting obscenities, making vulgar gestures, and creating an extremely hostile environment. When my husband calmly asked them to lower their voices and stop using foul language in front of our children, things escalated rapidly. They began threatening him, yelling insults at our entire family, and acting in an openly intimidating and confrontational way. At one point, we truly feared for our safety. My children were terrified, and we felt completely exposed and unprotected. What made everything worse was that hotel staff did absolutely nothing to intervene or de-escalate the situation until it was nearly out of control. There was no visible security, no serious response — just complete inaction. It was clear that maintaining a safe and respectful atmosphere for families is not a priority here. We left this hotel deeply shaken and disappointed. I would never recommend this place to any family or anyone expecting a safe, respectful, and relaxing environment.

The Royal Palms Condominiums is an older property. During our stay, no one ever came to freshen our room. We had to call guest services to request more towels in our room. Although the property was okay it was not what we expected when we purchased a Hilton Grand Vacation spot.
