I absolutely loved this hotel! Such a beautiful hotel with a great view. The room was very spacious and all of the staff were super friendly! It’s a great central location. I wanted to shoutout Lucas and Ian! Ian was very welcoming and accommodating upon check in. Lucas greeted us every single time we were coming and going. He always very personable with us! We can’t wait to come back :)

My parents and I visit Chicago each year around the holidays, and this is our first time at this particular Royal Sonesta. Although it's freezing outside, the moment we entered the warmth was felt in the lobby - not only temperature-wise but the hospitality and level of service. Kass went above and beyond to make our family feel welcomed and cared for, making sure that we were comfortable and took advantage of all the city and the hotel has to offer. Special shoutout to her for being such a warm presence for us. We'll be back!

We absolutely live this hotel! Have stay here numerous times. Great location for exploring all that Chicago has to offer! Easy walking access to State St and Michigan Ave sites. Easy walking to CTA train line. Hotel staff are always polite and professional. A very special shout out to Candace and Cass who went above and beyond to make our visit very special! We were celebrating a special occasion and they helped upgrade our stay in multiple ways to make it so special! Thank you so much to both of them! Great people!

I booked this hotel in January for my 60th birthday in November, I actually messaged them at the time to tell them and the fact I didn’t get a reply should’ve been a warning! We paid for our stay the week before arriving but on checking in the man on the desk attempted to charge me again for the full stay, which only became apparent when we gave him our card for the usual deposit in the US should we use the minibar, etc. despite him saying the card was declined every single penny of the almost £2000 in our account was taken! This was basically all of our spending money for my 60th birthday trip. We spoke to 3 different managers during the weeks stay but 3 weeks later we are still waiting to get our money back! Since arriving home I have emailed the most helpful of the 3 managers but she is now ignoring me. My bank say I have to wait until 20/12 to get the money back. All this because their check in staff made a huge blunder. They basically ruined the whole trip leaving us with no money.
