"Quite cosy and cheerful, and has more than one pool which close late =)"

Stayed here with family in separate but very similar rooms from the 4th through to the 14th of November, and it was a very pleasant stay. The staff were always helpful and polite. The room service were brilliant, always leaving the room with fresh towels each day and keeping things tidy. I really liked the manually controlled air conditioning in the room, especially to have it on before going to bed (I've always slept better when it's cold), so I'd crank it all the way down a little while before bed and it would help me get to sleep. Another nice touch is the fridge and microwave. They're always handy. Really loved that the pools were available to use in the evenings and night time after a long day out in the Disney parks. Most days they closed about 11pm, and being Orlando, it's still warm at that time so it's just really nice to go for a swim late. Just take note, that at the time of making this review, one pool is closed due to the renovation / construction going on in the middle building, but the other two were good. They're fenced all the way round, so no worries about alligators getting in there =P Another very nice addition to the pool areas are the trolleys full of towels close to the pools, so you don't even need to take your own with you if you don't want to. Really thoughtful idea that is fair play, thank you. Onto a few minor gripes. The smoke alarm in the room kept intermittently flashing throughout the night, and it was bright enough to cause disturbance. Had to go out and buy cheap electrical tape just to cover the damn light. Shouldn't have had to do that... The coffee maker was rubbish for boiling hot water. First one I used slowly leaked, so asked to have it replaced, and the staff were great to replace it very fast, but the second one was stupidly slow at boiling small amounts of water. A little energy efficient kettle would be a lot better there. The room could do with having a small freezer compartment in the fridge for storing some ice cream. And lastly, I clearly had missed the bit in the fine print about having to check out by 11am, even if the shuttle to the airport is an about two hours later, because the room keys are electronic, and when I went out to refill my water bottle in the shop, I returned to a locked room. I went to the front desk and spoke with staff who told me about all of this, and were understanding enough not to charge me for staying late and opened the room so I could get all my stuff. Again, cheers for that, because the charge wouldn't have been a cheap one. Best wishes.

"Great location"

Location is the best thing about the hotel, its walking distance to most things on International Drive and has great transport links to everything else. We travelled as a family of 5, the rooms arent the most spacious for a group of 5 as the fold down bed takes up all of the living space when its up. We stayed in block E, block D is currently being refurbished, which was the reason we were told the Wifi was non existent in our block. The hotel and grounds are really clean and well kept, and the pools (one of the three closed as its behind block D) good for the chill days when not out exploring or at the parks. The in house shop is very over priced, but theres a CVS across the road down by block E. Ice machine on every other floor in each block is good also. You get what you pay for here, some reviews say the rooms are outdated but it is what it is, perfectly functional and only really used as somewhere to sleep. Would definitely consider staying again, but preferably in a block where the wifi works to appease the kids at night and in the mornings.

"OUR 30TH ANNIVERSARY STAY DURING ROSEN’S BIG 50TH"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed November 03, 2024 NEW
Hotelier and philanthropist Harris Rosen has quite the presence on Orlando’s International Dr. and over the last 30 years we have stayed in many of his hotels over the last 30 years, particularly the ROSEN INN AT POINTE. This is the hotel we were married at, so we do have a soft spot for it. On this visit, during Halloween 2024, we had a pleasant 6 night visit for some rest and relaxation after our tiring summer trek around New England. Highlights of this stay: 👍 No resort fee 👍 Clean and comfortable rooms 👍 Friendly staff 👍 Convenient location for I-Drive attractions 👍 Fast WiFi (though it was patchy at times on this particular visit) 👍 Left luggage facility - great when you have the day to spend after the 11am checkout but late flights When we last visited, during the Holidays 2023, we saw that block A was being renovated. The work had clearly progressed as block D was covered in scaffolding and tarps. We were impressed at how there was no noise but then we realised it was the weekend and come Monday the drilling and hammering started up. It was slightly intrusive as we tried to relax around pool #3. We could have visited pool #1 to escape the noise and dust (#2 was closed), but we were happy to tolerate it. Rosen Hotels & Resorts is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024 and at the Rosen Inn they were running a competition where you could watch out for a golden duck with a chance to win daily prizes and more. We were driven crazy wandering about the grounds looking for the glittering duck, sadly to no avail but it was a lot of fun! As we’ve said before, the Rosen Inn is a budget friendly Orlando hotel and a nice place to stay, particularly for first time visits to the Sunshine State. Perhaps like us you will end up returning again and again!

"Great location. Better than Avanti."
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

Have been here before and it's still the ideal place to stay on International Drive. No resort fees like the Avanti charge. Great location for Miller's bar. Free buses to Universal Studios. A shop, a bar, restaurant, and three pools. Dated but comfortable rooms with Aircon, free safe, iron, TV , hairdryer, fridge and coffee maker. Two large extremely comfortable beds with the best pillows ever . The reception staff are always helpful. The only downside, and it's not just here, is the ever prevailing smell of weed. The bathroom vent is the culprit until you switch it on and then it disipates. The smell of weed is everywhere up and down International Drive. More relaxed laws I guess. You can't go wrong with this place and we will be back...

"Comfortable stay with location being the biggest benefit of this hotel."
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed October 30, 2024 NEW
We chose the Rosen Inn at Pointe for its central location on International Drive, having previously stayed here in 2015. The hotel remains fairly basic, and while the rooms are a bit dated, they were clean and offered enough amenities to make our stay comfortable. Check-in was fairly quick, and the reception staff kindly arranged our two rooms to be next to each other, which we appreciated. We had breakfast at the hotel on a few days and also one dinner, using complimentary vouchers provided by Virgin Holidays. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and honestly, if we hadn’t had the vouchers, we likely would have looked elsewhere. There were two pools open, both were clean, with plenty of sunbeds and fresh towels available. However, the water was very cold, so it wasn't being heated. One downside was the on-site shop, which is ridiculously expensive, with many products not having any prices on. I’d recommend guests make the short trip to Walgreens instead for any essentials. On check-out, we were able to leave our luggage at reception until our transfer arrived later in the day, which was helpful.
