River Place Inn in Pigeon Forge, TN

The room was clean but the hotel seems to be full of people that live there and some of the "guests" seemed to be a little unsavory. They were smoking weed outside for hours so it was hard to enjoy the patio room we had paid for. I realize that the hotel cannot determine how the people are going to be that stay with them so that is not necessarily their fault. The first night, there was some type of upstairs leak and it came into our room. All of our luggage got wet as it just happened to be where we had placed our suitcase. The staff was accommodating and moved us to another room. We were told that our stay was going to be at no charge due to all the trouble of having to change rooms etc. They did dry all of our clothes for us but we have still not received any type of refund and it has been about 2 weeks. After we were moved, the next door guest was a lot better and made for a better experience for us. We really enjoyed having the river and ducks close by the room. We had a mini cook out on a small grill we had and it was fun to feed the ducks. Having the small patio was nice as it had a table and chairs to use. The pool was clean. Not sure if I would go back.

Horrible motel. First found dirty underwear in between sheets so they weren't changed. Then the shady charges they starting making to my card and the icing on the cake was when I started getting bit and discovered a bed bug infestation. Be warned stay away from this place

We arrived to go in room # 1. It reeked of drugs(marijuanna ). We ask to be moved 2nd. Room. Commode broke, tv non-functioning, air-conditioning Non-functional. Room filthiest I have ever seen. Don’t go. Ask for refund. We got a partial. Don’t use third party to book.

Bath tub high to get in, Shower head pipe loose in wall. Pay for ice machine, but took our quarters. No lights between beds, couldn’t read in bed. No Guide on the tv to tell channels or what’s coming on. Wouldn’t stay here again.

This room was absolutely disquisting! There were bed bugs, stains on the sheets, hole in the bathroom, grungy, bathroom door handle busted, curtains were dirty. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. We walked in and walked right back out. They also did not give us a refund, horrible people to work with. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
