Moxy Miami South Beach in Miami Beach, FL

Family Cruise out of Miami. Needed to stay over and we chose the Moxy. We couldn’t have made a better choice. Everyone was friendly , helpful and accommodating. Louise at the front desk took just a few extra moments to answer our questions, and did not rush us. Stephen at the Pool was awesome, and gave great poolside experience. Amanda in the Lovby bar greeted us with a smile, and made us feel at home. Definitely recommend the Moxy, and will be back

As a seasoned traveler who has stayed in Marriott properties across the globe, I expected consistency, cleanliness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, Moxy Miami was hands-down the worst Marriott experience I’ve ever had. This hotel is a complete disappointment and does not reflect the standards or values of the Marriott brand. The problems started immediately. Before arriving, we were told by a staff member named Nicky that valet parking would be $49. However, when we arrived, we were given three different prices—one by the valet, another by the front desk, and a third from printed signage. Confusing, disorganized, and misleading. Room issues were constant. Our first room was unbearably hot—the AC barely worked, and we were left sweating inside. We requested a room change, and while we were moved, the second room had the same problem. Multiple staff came to “adjust” the thermostat, but nothing improved. On top of that, the shower door was broken and never repaired during our stay. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, and worst of all, the shower was visibly unclean, with pubic hair stuck to the walls. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one affiliated with Marriott. Housekeeping was nonexistent. We were told rooms are cleaned every other day—but that’s not what happened. We went three days without a room cleaning, no fresh towels, no toilet paper, no trash removal. We had to take our own garbage out to the hallway, including used toilet paper. Truly disgusting. We called on day two to request cleaning and were reassured it would be handled. It never happened. When we followed up, the front desk told us we should have called to request service—as if we hadn’t already. No accountability, no follow-through, and no hospitality. The only redeeming features were the rooftop pools and trendy bar areas. But nice aesthetics can’t cover up poor management, broken amenities, lack of cleanliness, and dismissive customer service. Final Verdict: DO NOT STAY HERE. Moxy Miami is poorly managed and fails to meet even the most basic standards of hospitality. From broken fixtures to filthy showers and non-existent housekeeping, this place is a disgrace to the Marriott name. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone—Marriott needs to seriously reevaluate this property.

Wow, what an incredible experience here at Moxy South beach. From the staff, to the beautiful pool and rooftop, to the delicious food and artsy atmosphere. This is a prime location in the heart of south beach, just one block away from the beach and right next to convenient stores, shops, liquor stores, and late night bites! Upon check-in, they give their guest complimentary chips and salsa, as well as a margarita with a $30 purchase at the Mexican restaurant upstairs! Additional, they provide two bikes and two lounge chairs at the pool to their guests. These little gifts made the trip memorable for us. Special thanks to Nathan at the front desk, he was our absolute favorite. Very helpful and hands-on with anything we needed. Luis and all the other staff were great hosts as well. The hotel is fabulous in every respect. We had dinner at Serena and Chef Andy will take care of you, his culinary abilities shine brightly! Raj our waiter personalized our experience and provided amazing and attentive service ! Recommended for a fabulous evening

Spent a night last month at the Moxy Miami South Beach before leaving on a cruise. Convenient location made it ideal for enjoying local shops and restaurants. As mentioned, the space is tight but found it adequate and comfortable. Great outdoor spot offered a tasty selection of things to munch on. Staff was very inviting and accommodating. Highly recommend a stay at this boutique hotel
