"Great hotel and great management"

This hotel is great. Great location, great restaurant. Had an issue with my first 2 rooms but the management took care of it. Great hospitality in a not fun late night situation. I’ve stayed here 4 times in the last year and will be back again soon!

"Business stay"

Front lobby was nice and clean, front desk girl who checked me in was super nice. Got to room and it was really worn, spots and mystery stains on walls, filthy vent in bathroom, no bar soap in bathroom. When we asked the housekeeper for soap she said they were out. What?? Ended up going to Target to buy some. Asked for a connecting room which we were given, but the deadbolt wouldn’t turn so we couldn’t utilize the connection. TV was good and was able to stream, beds appeared clean. I wiped the room down with lysol wipes and there was a lot of grime that came off surfaces. Hotel rooms definitely need a good scrub and refurbished.

Worse Marriott I have ever stayed. Old, smells humid, fitness center is old, most of the equipment is broken. M Club is no good, very little food and not many options. Worth to drive farther for a better hotel. I won’t be staying here again.

"OK, But Showing Its Age--Time for a Refresh!!!"

On the positive side, we experienced no earth-shattering problems. Convenient to Interstate 64. Parking lot was crowded (weekend), but we managed to find a space to park. Complimentary breakfast in restaurant (provided for Platinum guests) was good--but not anything to write home about. Elevators are old and slow. Ice machine down the hall was as loud as a 747--glad our room was not near it. Room was relatively clean but dated--wallpaper (or whatever it was) is peeling. Bed was very comfortable. Lounge was closed on weekend, but open Sunday night and Monday morning. OK lounge, but not especially nice. Price was a tad too expensive for quality of this hotel. We will look elsewhere on our next visit but will use this hotel as a "fall back" option.

"Never Again"

Where do I start? This hotel is by far the worst we have ever stayed at. There were about 20 teams of young soccer boys staying there while we were there. Ryan, the front desk manager, unilaterally decided to change the rules and extend the outside pool hours from 9 to 10:00 pm on both Friday and Saturday nights which meant an extra hour of screaming kids outside our window. We called him twice and he basically said they have no control of the outside noise on their property which is simply untrue. They also closed the M club on the weekends which no other full service Marriott does. They explained to me it was because they were still trying to get their staffing up after Covid. ( 3 years ago) The hotel is run down, beds not comfortable, we even saw cracker pieces on floor next to bed that never were vacuumed before we arrived. Air conditioner was loud, and our 5 night stay was beyond depressing. Ryan needs to be fired for his incompetence, dismissive behavior and BRO mentality. We never received a Marriott survey after our stay ( not surprising), which is why I have written on trip advisor, although my husband did file a complaint with Marriott naming Ryan specifically.
