Marina del Rey Hotel in Marina del Rey, CA

Nice hotel in a quiet, good location close to Venice Beach. Good value for money. I would definitely go back in the future

I really had a nice stay. The view is amazing, most of the staff is very friendly, and the room is fine. There is a fun vibe there. The only thing I found “off” is the restaurant. The service was disjointed and not super friendly - kind of acted like they were doing me a favor. The food was fine but they were not accommodating and the one guy said he was going to charge me for honey if I ordered more. I had iced tea and I used one honey and then asked for another for the refill. I thought that was petty. But for the price and location, I do like this hotel. We just ate and drank elsewhere for the remainder or the trip. The front desk crew was as solid as 5 star. Maid service quality, as well!

We spent New Year's Eve here in a high floor marina view king room. The one night stay set us back more than $500.00, then they added another $52 for valet parking. The hotel is lovely and the marina view from our balcony was great. Everything was fresh and clean. For the bad - The A/C did not cool the room enough. The fan on the A/C would not stay on as a fan only to help drown out noise from others celebrating well past midnight. We had pr9blems printing documents in the business center and were unable to get any assistance whatsoever. One person even said "most people just use their phones these days" referring to us wanting printed boarding passes for the airport in the morning. The biggest issue we had was being charged $52 for valet parking when we received ZERO assistance with luggage. Instead, three guys stood there chatting and laughing and watched us trying to get luggage out of the trunk of our car. We walked and dragged all of our luggage to the stand outside the door where the 3 guys were standing and then one of them asked with a smile and his hand out for our keys if we needed help. I politely told him it was clearly too late now since we were already standing at the door with all of our luggage. While we were checking in I looked back and they moved our car 15 feet to the first parking spot. I complained immediately to the desk clerk and again to a representative. So far, only a thank you for bringing the problems to their attention. Including a dinner at their restaurant, we spent in excess of $750 and received poor service. I can't say enough about this cozy, very clean hotel!! It was in an excellent location right in the heart on the Marina with plenty of places to walk to, we also rented bikes from the hotel and we were on the bike path in minutes to Manhattan Beach!! one last thing, the owner drove to the airport when my husband left behind his back pack with laptop inside.I was speechless that the owner didn't hesitate to do this for us!! Please book this hotel!!! We will definitely be back and stay at no other place!! Clean,quiet and cozy!!!

Wonderful experience here. Every interaction with staff was lovely being right by the water really enriched our stay. Also, having a Trader Joe’s within easy walking distance was super handy
