Customer service is top notch. Older property that is so clean and manicured. Lots to do, walkable to dining, shopping. Again, this property is very well taken care of.

"Charged a pet fee with no pet ."

This is our second time at this resort, it’s a little run down but we appreciate how close it is to everything we love walking too in Sedona. We decided to take a weekend trip to Sedona and we stayed here again. Over all the experience here was not bad we had a good quiet weekend . Until we got home and checked our credit card bill, and there was an extra 200+ charge. My husband called and the front desk guy informed him it was a “ pet fee charge for excessive white hair” my husband informed him we did not have a dog or any animals with us and the guy got an attitude . Well me I’m pregnant and I’m not taking anyone stealing money from us with a blatant lie. So I called back and the front desk guy called me a liar and said we owned a white small dog. I informed him we did not own any small white animals . And we own a 100 pound pit bull who was with a dog sitter and I had receipts for the dog sitting we paid for that weekend . Our pitbull is not even white . The front desk guy was extremely rude and told me no you have a small white dog not a 100 pound dog !? Which made me extremely angry how rude he was and who is he to tell me what kind of animal I own. You have to legally register dogs here in Arizona fyi we only have a 100 pound pit registered to us who does not do car rides so we paid a dog sitter and would never bring a dog that has to sit in a room all day!?!? I requested photos of this excessive dog hair and he gave more of an attitude and said I’ll see what I can do. I asked for camera footage surely they have cameras on the property to prove we did not bring a dog he said uhhhh no we do not offer cameras in the rooms?? I said uh I’m talking about the property he said no we don’t have cameras which in 2025 is wild !? I asked for a manager and he gave me an attitude and said they are busy I already sent a email and they won’t be calling you they will be calling you’re husband . So the assistant manager called my husband later and said she would investigate this incident but said her cleaning staff was good?? She never returned our call no one from this hotel followed up it’s been over a week. Extremely unprofessional and they steal money from their customers . We were planning on doing a huge family gathering and using this resort . After the way the front desk acted and the way the management just ignores serious issues and no calls backs we do not recommend this resort to anyone. The fact they can lie and charge for a pet with zero proof and no follow up or concern for the way the staff speaks . Zero recommend and I’ll be telling everyone. Disappointed the way this business is ran. Save your money lots of hotels in Sedona that don’t steal. Shady business

We had a fantastic stay at this resort! The 1 bedroom suite was spacious, updated and clean. We really enjoyed hanging out in the pool where you can get a snack or drink at the bar. The location was great being right behind the beautiful Tlaquepaque Village shopping area and a close walk to the cute downtown.

We stayed at Los Abrigados for the third time last May. This resort is absolutely fantastic!! They are in the middle of remodeling the resort but the work is done so discreetly that it does not interfere with the tranquiity of this beautiful resort. The staff are so attentive and we were made to feel so special! Amanda Brister checked us in and she was so warm and welcoming. We were there celebrating our daughter's graduation and requested a unit with a good view of the red rocks. Amanda put us in a unit with a great view! Although it was on the second floor, she radioed for a staff member to assist with our luggage. I think her name was Brenda but she was so kind! We were also given a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate. The pool is wonderful and there is an area where you can swim laps (my favorite exercise!). The gym is wonderful and although we didn't get any spa treatments, it looked really nice. The landscaping around the resort is amazing with roses that were in full bloom. The property backs up to the Oak River and has a picnic area, labrinth, putt putt and playground. There was a fun complimentary cocktail hour down by the river that was so nice. Los Abrigados is being transitioned into a Hilton property ( hence the makeover) and we chose to do the 90 minute presentation. Several gifts to choose from and we were assured it was not high pressure. So we did and it was very tempting to purchase but as we are older and own 5 timeshares, we opted not to buy. Concierge also helped us book an ATV tour where we were given 50% off. Los Abrigadoes is right next door to Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village where there are beautiful shops and restaurants. The restaurant on the property is also fantastic and we had probably the VERY best pizza we have ever had! I highly recommend staying at Los Abrigados. Even though all the units have not been renovated, the views and the tranquility of the resort make it so worthwhile. It is truly a little gem in Sedona!
