Very nice resort. The pools are very nice, food was good at the restaurant by the pool. As an FYI, if you want to go to a swimmable beach, plan on driving over. Very short drive but walking over would be tough if you wanted to bring any beach chairs, etc.

This resort is absolutely stunning—so much so that you might be tempted to not want to leave! My check-in as a Marriott Elite member was disappointing, but big thanks to the incredible hospitality from Danielle. She truly embodies what great customer service should look like. A huge shoutout to her and Gina, who came to the rescue when two of my taxi bookings fell through. I had the most memorable birthday surprise who was delivered to me by the amazing Luke. The room and concierge desk were decent, though not standout. As for The Grill restaurant—I’d call it average, nothing to rave about. But overall, the beauty of the property and the kindness of the staff made this stay one for the books!

Our previous stay had been outstanding. This time was radically different. We stayed in building 10. You can’t go out on the balcony due to the trash smell. The maintenance area had loud vibrating generator noises constantly. The nightstands and dresser had coffee stands.

Kaloa Landing is the perfect spot for a dream vacation in Kauai. The rooms are so nice, the pool is amazing, the grounds are beautiful, the restaurant is so good, and the staff members are all so kind and attentive. We went with our kids and grandkids and it exceeded our expectations.
