    I stayed here for a night as it's close to the Universal Studios which is our destination visit. Room is clean but the facility and decoration has worn out and this hotel doesn't look like a 4-star hotel at all, just like a regular IHG 3-star. The hotel is located next to the 101 highway, so if you are sensitive to the highway noises, please stay away from this hotel. The neighborhood is messy and there are homeless people wandering, sleeping on the streets. Very limited parking and the valet parking cost $70 after the tax. I was charged for $51 amenity fee which i wasn't expected even though I wasn't aware nor did I use any of the amenity from the hotel.

    From my first interaction on the phone with Jade to our amazing and thoughtful check-in with Gustavo, our stay has been amazing so far. After learning that I accidentally sent an email advising of our late arrival to a "no reply" incorrect address, Jade and Gustavo helped sort everything out. There are a lot of choices for hotels in the area, but what sets the Everly apart is the helpful attentiveness of the team members and relaxing luxury vibe. Our check-in with Gustavo was one of the best hotel check-ins I have had, as he was knowledgeable about all the amenities available, and kindly reminded me of the coffee and tea complimentary time (until 10am), the breakfast time (until 11am - gotta love those elite perks!) and the specialty coffee/latte/etc option included in the amenity fee. Gustavo not only offered to help with bags, and did everything required, but also just made me feel welcome after a long day of travel, going above and beyond to express that the entire team values our loyalty to Kimpton and the Everly. As elite members, it is a reminder that when you have multiple IHG properties to choose from, it is the little things that bring you back, like the thoughtful offers and friendly conversation. To top it off, we were given a fabulous room. Spotless and welcoming and quite large - just what I had hoped for (Thank you Jade for helping to facilitate this before our arrival!). Also not sure the housekeeping runners will see this, but Keith did a great job with friendly service and quick delivery of slippers. (A kind guest reminder no matter one's elite status: remember to tip and give a shout out online if someone made your day - hospitality workers that go above and beyond especially deserve to be recognized!) Thanks again Gustavo and look forward to our next visit.

    The room was very clean with a nice view of the Hollywood sign. The staff at the hotel were very helpful during my stay and provided recommendations when requested. The front desk team, particularly Spencer Hector, was helpful and welcoming creating a great start to my stay.

    I recently stayed in the Lola Suite at the Everly Hotel for the weekend. I also booked the 2 adjoining rooms (for a girls night sleepover on a Friday). On Saturday, I had a surprise birthday event (for 25-30) on the Rooftop sundeck which is right outside the all glass, sliding doors of the Lola suite. From the front desk staff, parking attendants, bell staff, housekeeping, event bartender, the wait staff at Written Hand (restaurant in the lobby), the wait staff at the breakfast restaurant to the event banquet team, each one of them were courteous, pleasant, delightful and helpful. They all played a part in making the weekend special for the birthday girl (I guess I mean the birthday woman since she was turning 60 😀). The experience we had would certainly make us recommend the Everly to others. The suite (along with the adjoining rooms) and the sundeck worked out perfectly for our weekend. The birthday girl was so taken aback and thoroughly surprised! All the guests loved the rooftop deck and the suite. The vistas from both the suite and the rooftop were amazing.
