    Val served me at the bar and was really friendly and helplful with places to visit and provided great customer service.She was very welcoming and took a genuine interest in our stay. Room was spacious, clean and of a high standard. We had a great view of the Hollywood sign Nice bath and shower too.

    i checked in here for nye and i was pleased to see how close it was to so many attractions and the red line train station. from the time i walked in, the property was exceptionally clean and the staff was very warm and hospitable. my room was clean, well decorated and for it to be so close to the 101, i heard absolutely no traffic passing by. the bathroom was beautiful and the water pressure and temperature were perfect. there were a few small issues that i discovered in the room, like a few stains on the couch and the door to the mini fridge having difficulty staying closed which i reported. since it was raining i didn’t have the chance to use the pool although it was heated which is a great touch. the views of the city and the hollywood sign was a wonderful touch as well. i would say where this property shines, is its staff. i went to the bar to try the frozen martini that’s included in the daily amenity fee. i was quickly greeted by val, our bartender. she was incredibly personable, knowledgeable and kind. to no fault of her own, i found the frozen martini to be too strong for me. it was beautifully made and was very aromatic but one sip had me feeling like lahey from trailer park boys. perhaps for someone with a more sophisticated palate it would have been enjoyable but i wasn’t a huge fan and ended up ordering a glass of cava. as a semi-retired bartender myself, the frozen martini seems quite time consuming for it to be the drink included with the amenity fee. speaking from my own experience on the other side of the bar, i could see it being difficult to quickly make when 10 guests show up to redeem it at the same time. my suggestion to management would be to change the drink that is included in the daily amenity fee. maybe a margarita, french 75 or a glass of house wine would suffice. overall, i enjoyed my stay at this property and will absolutely come back for future visits!

    This is a really great Hollywood IHG hotel. Perfect location within walking distance of bars and restaurants etc. Nice property with a happening lobby scene. Rooms are excellent with stellar views of the Hollywood sign. Great staff.
