Shaun, the beach photographer, was so friendly and made us feel safe in a thunderstorm with some great humor to boot. Made us want to come back! Great beach and hotel. Shaun is the best!

I was at the hotel for a business conference and brought my husband. Food = great Hotel interior Staff = great Pool/staff = good My husband is disabled and the biggest miss at this hotel is furniture. There is not 1 comfortable chair on the whole first floor. Give up the artsy fartsy stuff that really isn’t seating. It was awful. Only an office chair in the room is not acceptable. The most comfortable chair my husband found was in the floor laundry!!! The pool staff was great and brought him a cabana chair for pool time. Unfortunately, on the afternoon we had open for pool time, it was very understaffed. The servers did their best but I felt their frustration. When it is 90 degrees outside with 95% humidity, suggest or offer inside seating. I understand it extra work but having over 300 people sit outside to eat hot food is not pleasurable. Shade just didn’t cut it. We went elsewhere the last night based on seagull interference on the beach. Strongly suggesting to the customer that beach dinner may not be a great idea. I know a pivot can be done. I was there during a hurricane one time and it was handled flawlessly. All of the meals were very very good, had we been inside. The 5th floor arcade was tons of fun and the bar staff was awesome.

This is our second trip to this resort and we were so excited to return! The staff were very friendly and everything was great until they started doing work in the room directly above us on our second day. The noise was so bad that we could not stay in the room. Bad weather forced us to roam the lobby for about 4 hours waiting for the constant hammering noise to stop. They should not have rented the room while the work was being done as we couldn’t even sit on the balcony. We paid for the Sirene tower and had to leave our room for two days to avoid the noise. We did tell the concierge and she just apologized the first day and gave us a $100 credit a hour before we checked out. While we would love to make this resort a yearly trek, we are now rethinking the idea.

We had an excellent stay! Alex was so welcoming at the check in. He acknowledged our Marriott status and assisted with a beautiful, ocean front upgrade. Throughout our stay, he would greet us and ask about our day. Tony at Kane’s is a legend at the JW!! He makes a delicious toasted coconut mojito - don’t skip this! Happy hour is 2-4 👊🏻. The coconut shrimp is also fabulous. The beach service is a bonus. The grounds are pristine!! Every employee on this property greets you with a smile. This was our 5th time at the JW - we can’t wait to come back!

Went with my wife to celebrate our 15th anniversary. This is a beautiful property, with great amenities. Hotel staff could not have been nicer, and the bar & restaurant staff were amazing. The adults only Sirene experience was definitely worth it. From the reserved beach area, the rooftop infinity pool, to the adults only restaurant and gym, it was truly an exclusive feeling. We ate on property at Tesoro (adults only) and Korals, and had great meals. At Tesoro, we ate on the rooftop. It was an amazing experience and we had a fantastic dinner. At Korals, we had drinks and ate sushi at the bar. The bartenders on both nights we were there were really good, giving great service and making good food recommendations. However, the star of our trip was our beach attendant, Sean. He was super welcoming each day on the beach, and really took care of all of our needs. We looked forward to seeing and chatting with him every day. He’s an asset to the property! We will definitely be back!
