This hotel is a very clean and well maintained facility. All the staff from housekeeping to management were pleasant, accommodating and sincere. A nice bonus for us having fragrance sensitivities were the the unscented products in bathroom as well as the other cleaning supplies used in the room. The location is very walkable for many of the eateries and attractions in the area. The Inn at Venice Beach will certainly be our first choice for future visits.

The Inn at Venice Beach is an older place, true. It is SO conveniently located near the pier. It is super super clean and well kept. Our room was large and comfortable. If you are on the first floor (not ground level) there is a lovely inner courtyard which is so restful and lovely. The people checking us in were also very kind as we were there in transit after an operation at Cedars Sinai. We had a later flight and they let us stay later so more time horizontal and less time just sitting at the airport or sitting anywhere. Can recommend. And it was surprisingly quiet for being on the fairly busy street.

We stayed here for 2 nights and found it to be in a good location, just a short walk from Venice Beach, which was really convenient. The room itself was a good size, clean, and had a comfy bed. The view from the window was okay, you could almost see the sea, nothing special but fine for a short stay. To get to our room, we went up one floor, along a normal hotel corridor, and then through a lovely outdoor courtyard which added a nice touch to the property. Parking was quite expensive at $30 per day ($90 for 2 nights), which felt a bit steep. The main downside was the thin walls- our room had a connecting door, and we could hear pretty much everything from next door, from conversations, coughing and nose blowing to the hair dryer being used several times a day, including in the middle of the night. Overall, it’s a decent hotel in a great spot near the beach, but if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs.

Highly recommend. Friendly staff from the moment we arrived. Perfect location, within walking distance to Venice Beach, and down the road from good coffee and ice cream. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the shower water pressure was good and a small bar fridge and tea coffee making facilities were provided, as was a luggage storage option.

The hotel itself is well located, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Overall, the stay was fine. However, my initial experience left a negative impression. I had asked to leave one small suitcase at the property three days before check-in, as I was already in Los Angeles. Despite visible space near reception, the staff declined—without flexibility or warmth. As someone who works in tourism, I understand policies. But I also understand hospitality. Refusing to store a single suitcase for a guest already in town does not reflect a traveler-friendly approach. This moment affected how I felt upon arrival, and unfortunately influenced my overall rating.
