Great location for what we were there for. Hotel itself is charming; it's old antique with high ceilings in the room. Bedding was comfortable. We were not told to keep the key card inserted in the slot on the wall by door; it's the on/off for electricity in the whole room! Not the friendliest front desk staff (on either day we were there) at all!. Seriously management, front desk is the first impression to the stay and we did not feel that warm welcome. The parking situation was easy to use/find and just a short 2 block walk. The breakfast was great and the highlight of our stay! Waffles w toppings, oatmeal with toppings, meat and eggs, yogurts, juices. Breakfast staff ladies were amazing and a complete opposite of the unamazing at front desk. Our stay was overall decent. We were just there for 1 night anyway.

I had an AMAZING 5-night stay at the Independence Park Hotel, BW Premier Collection. Upon my arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to see my room has been upgraded to a spacious one enough to fit a crib for my little one at no extra charge! Their service is EXCEPTIONAL!!! Right from when I spoke with the manager, Jessica to make a reservation to the seamless check-in, their very courteous and friendly staff, the complimentary afternoon cookies (which I always look forward to 😊), Wednesday wine and cheese night and the complimentary breakfast. I can go on and on…. 😁 Overall, we had a memorable and enjoyable stay. First time here and we’ll definitely stay again anytime we visit Philadelphia. I highly recommend this boutique hotel to all tourists and even locals ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ S/O to Ms. Lynde and Ms. Debbie for making our stay as pleasant as possible and a big thank you to all the staff at the Independence Park Hotel, BW Premier Collection. Pleasant stay of 3 nights except Saturday night as traffic in front of hotel had some loud, noisy cars late into night. Our room faced the street, suggest interior room! Room had good A/C, not loud. Pillows not great, sofa bed needs upgrade as my son stayed on this. Had breakfast every morning which is nice start to day. They did provide extra blankets as I had requested upon making reservations which I appreciated.

I stayed at the hotel with my son. This was my second stay at the hotel, having stayed there last year. Overall it was pretty good, I would give it 4 1/2 stars. The breakfast items are varied and plentiful, and the breakfast attendant, Sandra, was very polite. There are many channels on the TV, and the room (king bed with sofa, street view) was spacious, if a bit cluttered with furniture. My son enjoyed the afternoon cookies! My main complaint is that housekeeping seems to be a bit lax with cleaning the bathroom. When I checked in, there were a few hairs in and around the shower. The housekeeper(s) also did not clean all of the hair out of the shower or off the floor each day while I was staying. I picked it up myself, but they may need a reminder to check this when cleaning. As for noise, I heard music each night around 10 PM that lasted for a while. I don’t know if it was from a guest or outside. I understand that there is city noise, especially with a street view room, but it was a bit annoying. Overall it was a pretty good stay. The front desk agents I interacted with were polite and helpful. I would likely stay there again.
