"not for businessers"

I chose this hotel as a central location for my business purposes. I expected as a frequent Hyatt customer I would receive better service. I was asked how often i would want cleaning service. I told her everyday. My room was cleaned once in a 4 day stay. I also asked for a top floor room and was told no. Again as a statused Hyatt member I assumed they would pay attention to this as this is a heavy vacationed location. After 2 nights of noise from the room above me, I asked again for a top floor room and was again told no without the woman checking to see if it was possible. The staff seems to lack consideration of the loyal customers to the company. This is becoming a growing problem forHyatt. I won't stay here again.

"Below Hyatt Standards Experience"

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The service we received was not consistent with the level of quality we have experienced at many other Hyatt properties. As a Globalist member, I certainly did not expect this standard of service. Housekeeping was not completed during our stay, even after I double checked and made an additional request at the front desk. This was very frustrating and unacceptable. Even more concerning was a serious sanitation issue, we found a bug in our bed. I emailed the hotel manager Talia Williams directly regarding these concerns and never received a response. The lack of communication and accountability has made this experience even more frustrating. Overall, this stay did not meet Hyatt standards, and I hope management takes these issues seriously to prevent this from happening to other guests.

"Closest Hyatt to Busch Gardens"

We chose this Hyatt based on the proximity to Busch Gardens. It’s not a fancy area by any means, but we enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is well maintained. The rooms are spacious & clean and the staff are uber friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast. The coffee was excellent and our kids loved the waffle makers. The pool was really nice, clean and well maintained. It’s decent size for a hotel pool as well. No hot tub though. There’s a grocery store nearby, a nice chick Fil an and a Yuengling Brewery with restaurant. The only downside was the bar out front of the hotel - North 30th Pub. They had a DJ and played loud thumping music until 11pm on Sat night. Our kids and therefore we were miserable. But I hear it was due to March madness so hopefully it was just bad luck on our part. The hotel tried to make it right, it was truly not their fault at all.

"Outdated, repairs desperately needed in bathrooms"

Front desk clerks were pleasant upon check-in and out. During the middle of the night we realized the air conditioner dripped on the outside ledge loud enough that you could hear it inside when the air conditioner was off. Nothing like a loud drip to keep you awake! The pillows were teeny, tiny and terrible -so bring your own. And the toilet/ shower area was very old and very outdated! I had chunks of porcelain missing out of the bathtub, which were 3 rusty areas, there was also mildew and/or grout missing! (I saw this the next morning or we would have left)! The back of the door was scratched up and peeling, patchy paint on the walls, and an empty bottle of shower gel hanging in the shower. You better get to breakfast early in the morning because they stopped stocking at about 8:30 and if you’re in the last 1/2 hour, you get nothing, not even water, not even orange juice. Everything will be gone, and the breakfast ladies are not accommodating. They will not refill…because it is almost time to close and they are already in cleanup mode . Even when it’s 30 minutes before shutdown… when we go back to Tampa we will definitely NOT stay at this hotel!
