Hyatt Place Orlando is located approximately just 10 minute's drive from Universal Studios Orlando and Disney theme parks are just around 9 miles. Guests will be an estimated 9-minute drive from shopping at Orlando Premium Outlets, while Orange County Convention Center is approximately a 6-minute drive from the hotel.

This Orlando hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool, and free WiFi in all areas. A flat-screen cable TV, a refrigerator, and a clock radio come standard in each room at Hyatt Place Orlando Convention Center. A hairdryer and coffee-making facilities are also provided. The moment I walked through the door, Cesar Diaz welcomed me in and made the check in process extremely easy. He thanked me for being a Hyatt member, helped me with parking and made sure I had a beautiful room. His service was superb, like I was checking into a resort. He will go places. Keep an eye on him - he is an awesome employee and I expect he will do great things with his future, as I am sure he treats all of your guests in this manner. You should be very proud of him! The hotel was extremely clean, like it was brand new. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel is convenient to everything! We will definitely visit again!

Clean, and located to all the best restaurants. Checkin was easy and fast. Room was nice and big, clean and no noise. 2 complaints. Must pay for parking🙄 and breakfast starts at 7. Wish it was 630 when you need to be out the door at a sporting event by 7.

We love a Hyatt Place and this one checked all the boxes! Great room and space, very consistent with a the Hyatt experience we expect. Extremely quiet for it being one of the busiest times of year in the area. Parking and breakfast cost extra which was disappointing but the rate we got for how close we were to Universal parks made up for it. That plus the cleanliness, quality and service level made it a solid value for price paid. Walking distance to Icon Park and several excellent restaurants was a bonus that ensures we will stay there again if visiting Orlando!

Low class, average 2 start hotel at best. Charge extra for parking when neighboring hotels do not. Worse, you have to pay for parking separately which is a hassle. Large room with a teeny, tiny bathroom. Not worth it... look at neighboring hotels instead.

The staff was exemplary - friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean, housekeeping is ready to assist if needed, and maintenance came quickly when needed. That being said, if you are disabled or traveling with a disabled guest, I would strongly urge you to avoid the Hyatt Place I Drive. All ADA rooms contain a king bed and sofa pullout. The sofa pullout blocks the door when extended. The ADA room with rails in the tub does not have a seat that is secure or safe. And I had to climb over the bed to exit the room when the bed was extended for a 3rd guest to be asleep. The ADA room with a shower/seat has a bit more room, but a wheelchair will not fit out the door around the bed. That is dangerous and unsuitable for disabled guests.
