We really enjoyed our two nights at the Hyatt. It was in a great location, with numerous restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious; beds and pillows were comfortable. We liked the covered parking garage, although not the $25/night parking fee! The breakfast offerings were very nice, especially the fresh fruit bowl! We definitely would stay here again if we're in the area.

I cannot say enough positive things about the staff at this hotel. My mother had some serious health problems and my sister and I unexpectedly ended up staying the better part of two weeks (after what was supposed to be a 5 night stay). From extending reservations when the hotel was at capacity, to waiving certain charges, accepting packages, and accommodating my mother's dog (who had to stay with us while my mom was hospitalized), the staff did everything to make us feel like this was a place that could be home during a very difficult time. I especially want to recognize the Front Office Manager, Amy, as she sets the tone that others follow. She could not have been more kind. As for the hotel itself, the location is wonderful, it's a few blocks from Mizner Park and has numerous restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. The rooms are large and well maintained, just showing some basic signs of age, like minor chips on the furniture and stains on the carpet, but nothing to make me feel it was not clean. Even with all the stress we were enduring, my sister and I were able to sleep in peace and quiet, the trains a non-issue. While we did not use the pool and gym facilities, it looked like plenty of people did. I just can't thank the staff enough for treating us with such kindness during our mother's stay at Boca Baptist Hospital.

I am a Hyatt member. When I booked online, I paid $25 for late check out and it was listed as 2pm. This was a business trip and we needed the time to co-work on a project. On the day of checkout, starting at 12pm we received multiple knocks on our door informing us we needed to check out. I kept reiterating that we paid for late checkout. At 1pm we received a call from the front desk stating that late check out was at 1pm and were told we had to leave immediately or we would be charged another $30. We had to rush to pack up and leave. I was very disappointed that I need not receive the late check out that I paid for AND was interrupted several times and had to rush to pack and leave the room.

Booked this based on a few reviews. Not sure how anyone rates this place positively. Business trip. Rooms are very tired and dirty. Moved rooms bc first assigned room was disgusting. Stains, mold and smelled. Second room slightly better but not much. Looked to switch hotels but availability limited. This hotel was built 20 years ago and is in DESPERATE need of a renovation. The A/c shut off at night when sleeping bc of a motion sensor so would wake up during the night and it was 80 degrees. Absurd. NO SAFE in the room. Bathroom dirty, worn down, rust, wallpaper off walls, etc. see pics. Stains on carpet. Yuk. The ‘free’ breakfast was a joke. I skipped it each day to find other options. Will say the coffee was OK, so at least there was that. A truly mediocre stay. Will not return. Stay somewhere else.
