UPDATE: LAS VEGAS POLICE DEPARTMENT HAD TO CLOSE THE CASE BECAUSE THERE WAS NO VIDEO EVIDENCE. THE THIEF IS STILL WORKING AT THE HORSESHOE AND WE WERE NOT EVEN CONTACTED BY THE HOTEL FOR AN APOLOGY. We checked in on Tuesday before thanksgiving we planned on flying out on Thursday we had a back to back reservation checking in on Saturday again and checking out on Sunday. When we checked in they told us that they would just keep the reseravation all the way through. She told us to stop by when we got back and have them reprogram our keys just in case they check us out and check us back in. When we left my husband forgot his gold chain and cross and we left some dirty clothes our parking ticket and some players cards. When we walked into our room everything was gone and the room had been cleaned. I called security in the morning and nothing was turned in. One person entered our room while we where gone according to security and that was a cleaning person. But they have to do an investigation. Are you kidding me? One person entered our room and he or she is a thief they should have be fired that day. I will press charges if they don't. I hope a lie detector test is protocol. As they are investigating this person is free to steal your stuff. Beware It took us 2 hours to get everything documented and taken care of before we left. Security and the Vip check in agents were amazing. UPDATE: I HAVE NOT HEARD A WORD FROM ANYONE AS OF JANUARY 12TH. I CALLED TO SEE IF THE PERSON WHO ENTERED OUR ROOM (MAID) WHILE WE WERE GONE AND STOLE OUR THINGS WAS FIRED. THE RESPONSE FROM SECURITY WAS BASICALLY WE WON'T TELL YOU ANYTHING EVER. THE HOTEL HAS NOT REACHED OUT AT ALL.

We had a wonderful stay. Everyone was very polite and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The location was center strip and was a very convenient to walk to other venues. We didn’t eat at the hotel as the prices were very high. Other than that, we will definitely stay at the Horseshoe the next time we come to Vegas.

We stayed here 5 nights and there were no real issues with our stay. I just feel like this hotel is way overpriced for the condition the hotel is in. Our room was large, had a good view and had a dressing area with a 2nd sink and vanity. Our room also had stains on the chairs, red stuff (no idea what) dried on the inside of the cabinet where the mini fridge is and multiple other kind of gross smudges on the walls. Also, the carpet in the hallways is coming loose and looks awful. Two mornings we saw 2 men sleeping on the couch/chairs right off the elevators - and we were on the 24th floor! They appeared homeless as they had multiple bags with them. The best thing we encountered here was Lan at the reception area who checked us in. She was very kind and was able to help us with a couple issues we had at check in. She’s very knowledgeable and makes a good 1st impression of the hotel.

ROOMS WERE OLD AND FILTHY. Towel rack has never ever ever been dusted if you zoom and you can see all the dust I had to request new towels as soon as I got there so I wouldn't use the ones on the shelf. Window sill is falling apart, I supposedly had a view of the Bellagio fountain but if you zoom in the windows were just so filthy there's no chance of seeing out of them. Carpet, gross.. I stay at some of the other hotel Caesars casinos and they are in much much better condition.
