Our stay at the Holiday Inn & Conference Center in Valdosta, Georgia was nothing short of wonderful. The friendly staff and hospitality service was the cherry on top of the sweet experience. We were greeted with smiling faces at every turn and the employees were eager to help in any way they could. The rooms were very clean and modern which was a plus. The beds were very comfortable which helped up sleep like babies. We also got to take a dip in the pool which was nice for our little ones to enjoy after a long hot day at Wild Adventures Theme Park. The resort is a short drive to the theme park and restaurants in the area. It is very conveniently located to everything. The hotel also has a restaurant called Azaleas that features an affordable but tasty menu of meals for lunch and dinner. They also have a bar which has a good variety of drink options. Not to forget a delicious breakfast buffet that is priced at $14.99 per adult and free for children per paying adult. They included a wide variety of options for all dietary needs which was nice. After the wonderful experience we had at this hotel, there is no doubt that we will absolutely be back. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay whether it be for business or pleasure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We returned here after many prior stays. We parked in one of the Diamond spaces at the end of the hotel. We didn't leave the hotel until the next morning since we had stopped at the Pit Stop in Tifton for a late lunch plus brought many leftovers for our dinner. I had booked a King Suite and asked about a Diamond upgrade (they have a 1 bedroom suite) but was told we had been given the best room in the house. It was better than our last stay in the 1 bedroom suite because our King Suite Room #601 had many updates, especially the bathroom. There was no tub, but the shower was great as well as the new sink area; there was also a toilet. There was a large area with a sofa bed at the end of the bed but facing the TV. The clock was flashing "needs new battery" so I put my CPAP machine in front so I didn't have to see blinking lights all night! There was a desk with drawers below the TV. The was a sink plus a coffee station, microwave (to heat our dinner), and a fridge. Our view was to the north and the main highway. It was quiet without any road noise. Everything was great. The ice machine was close by near the elevator. It was a connecting room, and we had neighbors but heard no noise. We were very satisfied! Breakfast: I knew that they had changed from menu service to a $14.99 buffet. I receive complimentary breakfast for my IHG Diamond benefit. After our experience at the Holiday Inn in Asheville a few nights earlier which had 5 minimal items on the hot buffet and very little else, I was dreading breakfast, but... It was a fantastic buffet with many choices. Unlike the same priced meal in Asheville, it was worth the price, maybe more! There were scrambled eggs (cage free per the sign), potatoes, bacon, sausage links, French toast, and a local specialty, Bacon cheese grits. There were fresh pastries, cereals, etc. and lots of fresh fruit choices. The highlight, however, was seeing Mary again. She's on top of everything and once again, took great care of our breakfast needs! In conclusion, everyone on the staff was great. Mary is just tops here! Our renovated room was an unexpected surprise. This hotel had showed its age on prior stays but now looks so much better.
