What a lovely experience. My husband and I were traveling late and unable to make a reservation online. Some of the hotels we called sent us into frustrating AI chats that went nowhere but the number for this hotel went straight to the front desk where the night clerk, Dan, answered and assured us there was a room available to us. He was so warm and welcoming when we arrived and was exceptionally helpful and accommodating to our needs. His kindness really got our trip off to a good start. The room we were given was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortably laid out, the bathroom sparkling and well stocked. And the air conditioner, usually my nemesis, was quiet and responsive to adjustment so we were able to sleep soundly. Cynthia, the day front desk clerk was also quite pleasant and welcoming. The women tending to the breakfast area were cheerful and kept all the breakfast items well stocked and the whole area clean and neat. All in all a very good experience.

We took a group of 31 students and everyone was so accommodating. From our check in who was very patient with us to Carmen in the morning be ready to serve us all breakfast. It was a great experience.

A friendly, convenient, comfortable place to stay! The breakfast (prepared by Carmen most days we’ve been there) is excellent. The breakfast room is clean and the cinnamon rolls are hot! A full breakfast! The front desk employees are so friendly and we’ve become friends with our travel to this area. I must mention Ilse, Tiffany, Victoria, Tori, Evelyn, Cynthia, Daniel and Regina. Every single one is so nice and so helpful! Housekeeping is also excellent! What a pleasure to stay at the HIE on Bangs Avenue! Can’t wait to see them all again!
