Holiday Inn Express and Suites South Lake Buena Vista in Kissimmee, FL

We had to stay at this hotel as part of a Stay-to-Play soccer tournament, whose fields were over 30 minutes away. So, we weren’t overly enthusiastic anyway. However, somehow we were still underwhelmed. Let’s start with the pluses. The breakfast was very good, although seating was pretty limited. There is some outdoor seating, but the majority of tables are oriented toward east, facing the rising sun! The pool areas are great! There are 3 pools and couple hot tubs. The bartenders at the Lighthouse Tiki Bar thing were very friendly & mixed some STRONG drinks, but I wouldn’t recommend relying on this place for food. We order Chips & Salsa as well as Potato Skins. The food was good, but took over 25 minutes to get it! Our kids had a blast but were starving (we eventually just ordered pizza for delivery!) The shower had good water pressure & Dove products for soap and hair. The bathrooms only had one sink, which was a little inconvenient for us, but manageable. The bathroom door also would automatically slam shut. Again, not terrible, but a bit annoying for brushing teeth or doing hair. Unfortunately, this was about the most positive I could be. The beds felt like rock slabs covered with newspaper sheets. Nearly every trashcan we passed, including those in the lobby were filled to the brim and never seemed to be emptied. The hotel has 7 floors and 2 working ice machines (a 3rd was out of order). Needless to say, if you’re hosting families for a sports tournament, you’d think something like Ice would be pretty necessary. I realize that I may be being overly negative and picky, but I am absolutely shocked that this hotel has a 4.4 rating when I looked it up. There’s absolutely no possible way that it should be rated anywhere above a 3.5!

Accommodation is really good pillow and bed are fluffy and nice sleep with it.. Services is very good, special mention to Amor in the dining area. She ‘s very friendly and accommodating to the guest. Keep it up!

The rooms are well kept. While there was an issue with clogged sink at the toilet, it was addressed promptly. Amor and Dani are very warm and friendly. They serve guests excellently.
