"Beautiful hotel in a prime Santa Clara location!"

This hotel is absolutely stunning. I stayed in Room 721 from January 10 - January 11 while I was visiting with family in the local area. Mary Jane was the front desk agent who welcomed me upon arrival and her level of customer service was absolutely phenomenal and very professional. She acknowledged my Hilton Honors membership and she also accommodated my request for a high floor room away from the elevator. She was very kind, courteous and very polite. My room was cleaned very well by the top notch housekeeping staff and my gym workout at the state-of-the-art fitness center in the morning prior to my departure was phenomenal. The cafe here serves Starbucks coffee and that made an amazing start of the day experience since my cappuccino was outstanding. The swimming pool here is gorgeous and my morning swim was super refreshing. I will definitely be back at this hotel due to the first-rate level of customer service, amazing amenities for guests and absolutely beautiful rooms. Thank you for a top notch stay at this stunning Santa Clara hotel!

Stayed for 2 nights. Great location in relation to the amusement park and the stadium. The restaurant had great food. Decent but fast service from the front desk during check-in. The hallway to my room reeked of an old-folks home. The safe in my room during work. And the pool was dirty. The rooms are very over-priced so I recommend going else if you are on a budget.

"Hilton Santa Clara – Business Stay Review"
TripAdvisor user rating 4.0 out of 5
Reviewed October 30, 2025
I stayed at the Hilton Santa Clara for a business trip. The Hilton Santa Clara is a franchise Hilton operated by the Stanford Hotels Corporation. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation and as such is a bit out of sorts in some respects. The good As a Gold member I was upgraded to one of their newly renovated rooms. It was clean, fresh, and felt up to date. There are plenty of outlets next to the bed, including USB charging ports. There were sufficient outlets elsewhere in the room, though you might find yourself wishing you’d packed a power strip. The restaurant looked good and felt like it had been recently refreshed. I had the breakfast buffet and it was up to par with the standard breakfast buffets in the Hilton family of brands—typical price point, typical quality. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. They made me feel like they were glad I was there. The nits While the room was updated, it appears my door lock and handle mechanism were not. It would unlock, but the door wouldn’t open (I don’t think the latch was fully retracting). I went to the front desk and they told me the locks could be finicky. If pulling down didn’t work, try pulling up. That worked. Once. The next morning, after breakfast, I couldn’t get back into the room. After the front desk person came up and verified the issue, he called engineering. They replaced the mechanism while I was out and that solved it. True nits: they supply very cheap single-ply toilet paper. The elevators are a bit janky. I was mildly concerned the doors might not close—or open—given the scraping and grinding. I hope they’re part of the renovation plans. Finally, while most of the breakfast buffet was good, I encountered something I didn’t know was possible: bad bacon. It was limp, chewy, and had an odd flavor. Bacon, by its very nature, is usually good. Even subpar bacon is still typically worth eating. But this was truly bad bacon. -

Excellent bar staff and nice little convenience area where you can purchase drinks and snacks. Quick walk to Great America. All in all recommended for a family fun vacation.
