"We came in off Route 66 on a rainy night, the parking is a drag, rooms are very nice"

We took a brief detour off our Tulsa, Oklahoma to Springfield, Missouri to see what Branson was like. We were exhausted from steady rain for three days driving down two-lane highways and came in on a Sunday night. It was dark, rainy and steep hills. We had originally planned on seeing Branson as we are from Minnesota and a lot of people go there as well as retire there. The reviews you have read here a very correct about the parking situation; confusing, a walk outside, they charge for it. Unfortunately, I'm sure a lot of elderly people stay here as well as people like us who arrive in the driving rain and the walk over from the crowded, weirdly marked ramp is an inconvenience. The front desk guy made a political crack which didn't go over well and we headed up to our room that faces the condos next door. Unless you anticipate nice weather and daylight, the fountain side is not worth it although very beautiful; it's expensive, but nice. We loved our room and it was spacious and well appointed. We made our way down to the attached bar and watched the Vikings game. It was actually busy in there on a cold, rainy November night. Branson had all of their Christmas decorations up two days after Halloween which was some what funny. We drove around a bit in the morning and this is a very nice place. Try to stay here off-season cause it seems to be a little bit pricey. Valets were nice, but a little pushy.

"Polar Express stay"

We come every year for the Polar Express and decided to try this hotel. Checkin was fine and we got in our room early. Unfortunately, there were several issues with this room. There were no blankets and pillows for the couch bed. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes from the previous stay. The bathroom vent fan cover fell when it was turned on. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. The shower gel in the shower was not refilled. For the price, this was very disappointing. At checkout, I covered this list off with the front desk who seem to give no care and the only comment was “we are renovating these rooms soon”. Would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.

"Always a great stay on The Landing"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We’ve stayed here many times but this time we opted for a one bedroom condo and now that will be our first choice every time. Nice covered parking garage, always friendly and efficient hotel staff, clean hallways and elevators. Condo had a full-size refrigerator with a good working ice maker. We had a view facing the train and the Hilton Convention Center. The traffic is a bit loud. I like how the balconies keep the rain and weather at bay because they are semi-enclosed. The Landing was so busy and fun! Love Starbucks next door and Big Whiskey’s downstairs in the lobby had some great food ~ we ordered online and walked down and picked it up. It was quick and easy. There is no food delivery allowed ~ the delivery personnel aren’t allowed on the hotel floors as they are all locked and key card access only. Overall, this will continue to be our Branson hotel. Highly recommend for location and comfort.

"Not all Hiltons are created equal!"

My mom and I traveled to Branson on October 18, 2024. We checked in and our room was in the South Tower. We accidentally went to the North Tower first. As we got off the elevator and walked to our room, the hallway looked to be newly remodeled, new carpet, nice lighting, paint, etc. We quickly realized we were in the wrong location and went to the South Tower. Immediately upon entering the hallway, it smelled horrible, the carpet was filthy, old furnishings and wall paper. Our room was no better. Multiple stains on the carpet and, in fact, the carpet was so old it was loose from the floor and wrinkling. I contacted the front desk but since it was a Friday night they were booked and could not put us into another room. On Sunday night we were moved to a room in the North Tower. Although the room was better, the air conditioner didn't work well so we had to keep the blackout shades down so it would stay somewhat cool. The remote for the TV also didn't work as it wouldn't change the channel. The parking for the entire hotel is on the opposite side of the rooms. So you must walk through the lobby, around the workout/pool area, out the side door, across the loading zone for deliveries, and into another door to take the elevator down to the parking. Just being my mom and I we didn't feel safe at all. The common areas were generally filthy. The elevator in the parking structure had the same trash and spill stains in it all week. Clearly that is never cleaned. The hallways, even in the North Tower, were cluttered with trash on the floor. The rooms seemed to be cleaned daily but no vacuuming in the hallways ever took place that we could see. The only positive for that hotel is the location. You can walk right out and be at the landing where there are restaurants, shopping, etc. That's the only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars instead of 1. I would never stay at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing again!

OVERPRICED RUN DOWN ROOMS! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. NO MOTEL IN. RANSON IS WORTH 500 PER NIGHT. Rooms haven't been updated since motel was built. Smells musty, room prices are 650 for nice ones and 250 for road view. Way to expensive. Stay somewhere else.
