"We will be back"

Our trip started badly. The place we were going to stay was run down, and the room was musty and moldy smelling. We then went to the Hilton Promenade and met Barb, Scotty B and Jerry. Barb had Scotty B show us around. They were all so kind and helpful showing us the room first. We just needed a good trip. We are not home for Christmas Day as we leave town because of the loss of our children. It is a very hard time of year, but Barb, Scotty B and Jerry made it a great stay. Their kindness will not be forgotten.

This was an awesome place to spend Christmas. Very festive, the Hilton is amazing, staff is more than helpful and responsive. And everything you could want to do is steps from your door. #Waxy O’Sheas, #JoesCrabShavk, #PaulaDeens, #MellowMushroom, all highly recommended and shopping galore. The fountain was cool and the tree was fun! We definitely left feeling like we had to do this again. Jerry helped us bring down a car full of luggage and goodies and loaded it all in the car, he was very friendly and helpful, Bob and Jesse in housekeeping kept us in full supply and fresh every day! Thank you Hilton at Branson Landing!

"Absolutely Outstanding Experience! Heart of Branson <3"

I’ve stayed at plenty of places, but this one stands out in every way. I even took notes for myself and team to model their expert customer service. This place is a well oiled machine! First off, the location is incredible—right in the center of town! You can go anywhere from here, and trust me, you’ll never get bored. There is a HUGE fountain and fire show right outside. I even ended up shopping so much that I asked the hotel if they could store my bags. Not only did they say yes, but they went the extra mile and delivered them straight to my room which was a nice gesture after a long day. The staff was the real highlight. Everywhere I went—even in the elevators—I was greeted warmly. It felt so inviting and genuine. At one point, I got lost trying to find my hotel room, and a hotel employee stopped what she was doing and personally walked me all the way to the other end of the hotel to make sure I got to the right floor. That kind of care was very welcoming. The rooms were more spacious than the photos online. Clean and very well kept. The water gets hot fast and the AC gets cold very quickly. The meeting rooms were set perfectly. It looked like they measured the distance of the pens and pads to line them perfectly. I was very impressed by the beverage station set (the SILVER is extremely classy). It was so beautiful I took a picture to buy it for my own house. THIS is the place to stay. Amazing location, incredible staff, and service that goes above and beyond. Five stars all the way!

"This is not a real hotel. It's more like condos or an Airbnb short-term rental."
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

I made the mistake of booking the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. Despite the branding, this is not a real Hilton. It’s essentially apartment-style units or timeshare-like condos with a front desk and housekeeping. What it absolutely is not is a full-service, 4-star Hilton hotel. The setup is already awkward. Rooms are split between two towers, and accessing one of them requires going outside and entering through a completely separate doorway. There is no front desk in that tower. You just swipe yourself in. But the real issue — and where this property veers into outright disingenuous marketing — is the so-called “on-site restaurant.” One tower has an Irish pub. The other tower, the main building, has a place called Big Whiskey’s. Both the hotel and Big Whiskey’s openly advertise Big Whiskey’s as being part of the hotel, giving the clear impression that it is an on-site dining option. Yet the front desk insists it isn’t affiliated with the hotel at all. Translation: you can enter through interior doors, but you cannot charge anything to your room. This means there's no hotel breakfast here. It’s deceptive and misleading. In the morning, your “official” breakfast option is to walk approximately 200 yards across a busy four-lane road to the other Hilton hotel at the convention center.T wo Hiltons in one city is confusing, but I digress. That is where breakfast is served. Calling this arrangement acceptable for a property branded as a four-star, full-service Hilton name — let alone charging Hilton-level prices — is laughable. Guests should never have to dodge traffic just to get coffee and eggs. Service and amenities are similarly underwhelming. The front desk was pleasant enough, but no one offered help with luggage — not even the valet who took my vehicle. The valet system uses an electronic texting platform instead of traditional tickets, which becomes a problem if your phone isn’t working. Worse, they ask for your name, room number, and phone number out loud, in public. That’s a privacy lapse and a basic security violation. Any properly trained hotel employee knows better. My room was a condo-style unit with a full kitchen — functional for families or long stays. It was clean and in very good shape, but several details felt cheap or substandard: Cheap in-room coffee — Wolfgang Puck packets. Not acceptable at this price point. Lack of amenities — no robe, no slippers, no bottled water, no mouthwash, and no local information or newspapers in the lobby. Be advised that you need to close the curtains or close the doors if using the bathroom. That's because some rooms face directly into other rooms with the toilet being in direct line of sight. I could see someone sitting on their toilet when standing on the balcony of my room. I made sure to close the curtains and interior doors when using the toilet in my room, which was similarly in the line of sight of rooms opposite. All things considered, this property might be fine for families who want extra space, but it is in no way a four-star, full-service Hilton and should not be marketed as such. The misleading “restaurant” claims are particularly egregious. If a hotel can’t provide breakfast on-site — and forces guests to cross a four-lane road just to eat — it has no business calling itself a Hilton.
