"Worst hotel experience I've ever had!!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5

Quite possibly the worst hotel experience I've ever encountered. Upon arrival, the check in process took over 45 minutes due to only having two staff working. After that ordeal, we waited 30 minutes for a Bellman to become available to help us take our luggage to the 10th floor. Once arriving in the room, you could visibly see black mold on the ceiling and in the air vent and old food in the fridge. We were able to move rooms to the 8th floor which was manageable at best. On night 2 of our stay, a family we were with got stuck in the elevator and had to be removed by the local fire department after 45 minutes of being inside. This then rendered one elevator being out of order for the remainder of our trip and resulted in most everyone in the hotel using the stairs due to elevator wait times of over 15 minutes. Our son has severe food allergies, and the hospitality team was non-existent. They had buffet dishes labeled Vegan (may contain butter or egg). Once we notified them that a dish is either Vegan or it isn't they simply removed the tags to prevent confusion for other customers. On day 2 and 3, there were no beach towels at the kiosk at 9am. We informed the service staff and they said they had yet to be washed and to come back later. We called housekeeping on 3 separate occasions about getting fresh bath towels in the rooms which never happened. Thankfully I saw someone from housekeeping in the hallway who gave me towels from her cart. The overall experience was so bad we left early and have zero plans of ever returning. My concerns were mentioned to management who provided no empathy or apology.

"A Big Disappointment!!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed June 30, 2025 NEW
First off, this property is very underwhelming and does not meet the expectation of what one would have for a Hilton property. The resort is run down. Our room smelled like mold, carpet throughout was in need of replacement. There was black mold in the shower and a rusty air vent above the shower. Corners were dirty and in need of cleaning and painting. Bed was uncomfortable and the pillows provided were dirty and stained. So much, we went to the shopping plaza to buy our own. Still cannot believe Hilton would risk their brand by promoting a property such as this one. Check in was a nightmare. We booked a unit that had a King and Queen bed, which we thought would be perfect for my husband, me, and our 13 year old daughter. Only to arrive to be told the room was not available and all that was available was a single King room. Very uncomfortable with two adults and one teen sleeping in one King bed for two nights. The manager, RUSS, was very unapologetic shrugged and said I'm sold out, no compensation, no true apology, no offering of an existing property - awful customer service. I will be following up with Hilton to file a formal complaint. Outside of the dirty hotel and awful customer service, the amenities of the property are nice. The access to pools and shuttles add to the benefits. I would DEFINITELY skip this one. However, there is an adjacent property, the Embassy Suites which appears to be much nicer and offers the same access to amenities which may be worth a try.
