"Terrible customer service"

Terrible experience with Andy and Steven at the front desk. They will not give us a package we had delivered to the hotel unless we paid a $5 handling fee, which they never disclosed to us and it’s not on their website under hotel policies. We are staying here for 14 nights and we received packages 3 days prior with no charge for the packages but apparently this policy has been in effect for an awhile. It made us feel like they were making up with policy. These people are shiesty and seem shady. The first day I was here I heard guest at the coffee shop saying this hotel went down hill and that’s obviously completely true. They do not care about customer service nor making the customer happy. Had I been informed of this policy ahead of time I wouldn’t have ordered the packages. It’s the fact that they couldn’t make an exception that is crazy. And then they were so rude to us about it. Definitely won’t be staying here again

"Wrongfully accused"

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the Hilton Long Beach. I was wrongly accused of smoking in my room and unfairly charged a fee, despite there being no complaints from the Hilton brand during my stay. To make matters worse, the staff member, Judith, threatened to report me to Hilton family and friends and even tried to involve my Hilton family member in this fabricated incident. This behavior was completely unprofessional and does not represent the standards of the Hilton brand. I feel deeply offended by how I was treated, and I strongly believe accountability is necessary. I hope Hilton takes this seriously and addresses the conduct of employees who misrepresent the brand.

"Poor customer service"

Myself and my friend check into the Hilton Long Beach for a two night stay. Upon check in, we were told that there was a $100 deposit for each night of stay which we had not been informed of prior to booking. Had we known this, we would not have booked the hotel. Upon checkout we asked about the refund of this deposit, and requested a receipt. The woman at reception told us that there was an outstanding balance that had to be paid, we could not understand why as we had paid in full when we checked in. She was extremely rude and impatient, and went back on her statement saying that the charge had just not yet been finalised and we did not in fact have an outstanding balance. It was extremely unnecessarily confusing, and we were left very upset with the interaction. The hotel itself is nice enough, nothing very special. The beds were comfortable and there are complimentary snacks given to you upon arrival, which is a welcome touch. There are also complimentary beverages at the reception area which we appreciated. The location is okay, it’s within walking distance to a few shops, but you need to travel for at least an hour to get to any major tourist attractions. Overall, we would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
