While the location is directly across from the ocean, it’s also near a freeway and railroad tracks. If a little road/train noise bothers you, this probably isn’t the best hotel for you. It didn’t bother me. All the rooms facing the ocean have great views and it’s a quick walk across the street to the beach. Huge shout out to Glenn the valet who is a highlight of this property! He greeted us upon arrival, helped take out bags up to our room, gave us useful hotel info, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and was willing to assist however he could. We missed him on the days he wasn’t working. On checkout day, Glenn was quick to retrieve the car and back it up right to the front with the trunk open and ready to be loaded. Thanks Glenn!!

My son and I stayed in a double queen room including breakfast over a weekend. When I got there I learned that the sit down restaurant doesn't start serving breakfast until 7am on the weekends. Unfortunately we had to be somewhere at 7 so we didn't get breakfast on one of the days. The hotel is near the railroad tracks so listening to the train roll by at night was a bit annoying. Luckily the trains didn't run all night so it didn't keep me up. If I wanted to go to bed early that might've been an issue. After a full day I returned to the room to see that it was not made up. I went down to the lobby and was lectured about a little sign on a mirror in the room that explained the cleaning policy. Apparently you have to ask to have the room made up or it gets done every other day. It would've been nice for someone to tell me this when I checked in. I received some new towels and left it at that. The room is very basic with none of the little niceties I have come to expect in Hilton hotels like make up remover, shower cap, etc. I did have a spider greet me at my door in the morning so there is that. All in all, not my best Hilton stay.

The hotel has been recently updated and has a nice atmosphere. We had several meals catered for our business group and all the meals were excellent including vegan and gluten free meals for a few of us Pablo has been our server the last few years and he is always super accommodating. We will be back again next year for our annual event!

I can’t say enough about Glenn! He was soooo kind and went above and beyond! His service was 10/10! He’s only here on the weekends but it’s too bad he’s not here full time as he is such an asset to this hotel! Thank you Glenn for your kindness and for being such a nice and professional guy! I hope you are still working here when I come back! You need a raise! Haha
